Description: SCP-XXXX formerly known as the █████████ █████ ████████, now generally known as the forbidden consonant, is a consonant that is found in the now extinct Northwest caucasian language of Ubykh. When pronounced, the vocal cords, lungs, and diaphragm rupture, jaw fractures, occasionally the uvula rips off, the trachea sometimes becomes knotted, and other anomalous effects occur to body parts that are in any way related to speech. How these effects happen remain unknown. SCP-XXXX was added to the international phonetic alphabet in 19██ after the ubykh language was studied.

Pronouncing SCP-XXXX didn't affect anyone until the early modern era as there are no Circassian, Kabardian, Russian, Turkish, Persian or any other kind of source from a state that occupied regions of the caucasus near the black sea mentioning any kind of injuries that were previously mentioned, it is suspected that the effects of SCP-XXXX started to occur between 188█-19██ since the amount of speakers of the Ubykh language started to dwindle more and more during those times. There were sizable communities in the regions of today's Krasnodar Krai, Russia and multiple settlements scattered across Turkey. The majority of the Ubykh speakers died out and the rest integrated with the Russians, the Turks, or any other Circassian ethnic group.
Since the northwest caucasian languages are related to each other, SCP-XXXX can be found in the rest of the language branch languages, however they are very rare to come across.

SCP-XXXX has contributed to the extinction of the ubykh language due to the amount of words containing the consonant. The last speaker of the ubykh language, Tevfik Esenç, died while practicing his ubykh after he unknowingly pronounced SCP-XXXX thus making the ubykh language extinct. After an autopsy report was done on his body, it revealed that his vocal chords, lungs, and diaphragm were ruptured in very odd ways. A small misinformation campaign was done and the foundation came in and picked up Esenç's body for study. Tsatsu ███████, a doctor in ██████████, Adygea republic, Russia, died with similar ruptures and a ripped uvula. When Russian authorities came, Tsatsu's assistant, Lihuray ██████, was explaining what happened when he himself also pronounced SCP-XXXX and started to choke, witnesses say he spat out a round piece of meat which was later confirmed to be his uvela. Lihuray died 45 seconds later. Tsatsu's and Lihuray's body were then taken in by the foundation and were able to finally discover SCP-XXXX. Tsatu’s, Lihuray’s and Tevfik’s bodies were later returned for burial.

request accepted

Addendum XXXX-b
Request to confiscate all studies on the Ubykh language and replace all instances of SCP-XXXX with [ʁˤʷ] to prevent others from being victim of SCP-XXXX
request accepted

Addendum XXXX-c
Speakers of a none northwest caucasian language are unable to pronounce

Addendum XXXX-d
request to use D-class of Circassian descent

Reason: although SCP-XXXX has been purged from all known words, documents, and scripts there could be a chance where a person may accidentally pronounce SCP-XXXX due to its similarities to other consonants.
