The following has not been changed from it's original state. All containment procedures and actions are deprecated, and will no longer be followed.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell. Although SCP-XXXX has shown no tempts of escape, they shall be monitored at all times. Since it is unknown whether or not SCP-XXXX has a way or going back to the future, or further into the past, all suspicious behavior shall be immediately notified to a senior class researcher.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid male, approx. 178 cm tall. Multiple burn marks and scars are seen from a distance on their body, and they appear to be in their late 40's-50's. SCP-XXXX shows little to no emotion, only feeling the need to acquire its papers and finish its work.

SCP-XXXX has no anomalous properties. They claim to be born in 1985. They came with a briefcase full of papers, with writing that is in an unknown language. SCP-XXXX claims they come from the year 20██ after a major epidemic which causes humanity to crumble. They claim they were chosen to be sent back in time to 1982 to work on a cure.

Interviewed: SCP-XXXX

Interviewer: Researcher Delta.

<Begin Log, June 17th, 1300.>

Researcher Delta: So, lets clear the record. You willing handed yourself in, wanting to present us a briefcase full of papers, which you call the cure?

SCP-XXXX: Yes. Where are my papers?

Researcher Delta: First, tell us what this cure is for.

SCP-XXXX: No. Where are my papers?

Researcher Delta: We are keeping your papers away from you until we understand what they are for, and why you wanted to show us them. Please, elaborate on your cure.

SCP-XXXX: My life was spilled into those papers. 3 decades of hard, grueling research. I will not answer a single question until you show me my papers, and they are in my hands.

Researcher Delta: I think were done here.

As Researcher Delta stood up to leave, SCP-XXXX speaks.

SCP-XXXX: Wait. If I tell you what the cure is for, and how I know, you will hand over my papers?

Researcher Delta: Yes.

SCP-XXXX: Okay.

SCP-XXXX grows silent for a moment.

SCP-XXXX: The year was 20██. The world ran as usual. Not much strayed from now, other than a single operation that was going on under everyone's noses. I fear I cannot tell you too much, otherwise we will be in jeopardy, but I can tell you this: Soon, it will happen. A small slip of a scientists finger, dooming billions of lives. He releases a chemically made bacterium known as ██████. Before he realized what he had done, it was too late. Millions died in days. Billions in months. The world will fall into total chaos. Small groups of humanity live in now desolate areas, scavenging what they can. In 20██, my group had completed a device that could send one person back through time ██ years. I was chosen. I was sent back to 1982. I began my research, knowing one day I would need it. I was so close. Then you came along. Taking all of my research and work away from me. I was going to give it to you. I was going to save humanity. Please. Give it to me.

Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX appears to only show emotion to their work, and nothing else. All documents, and talk of their work must not be within hearing range or line of sight of SCP-XXXX. I fear they could become incredibly hostile to take their work back. Lets not have it that way. - Researcher Delta.
