the island

The island
The island is a collection of garbage off the coast of California.
there is a small wooden shack with a heater, bed, and table.
it is safe to be outside except for in the shadow where there are humanoid creatures covered in a black gassy substance.
they sit and wait for people to walk near them and will grab you and do what ever they need to pull you in.
exceptions are the shack.
during the night the shadows will walk freely within the vicinity of the island.
they can mock the voices of your loved ones to lure you out into the night
there weakness is light of any kind most effective is the sun
they will leave out food for four meals each day when dawn comes.
it is unclear what they do after you are pulled into the shadows.
