Special Containment Procedures:
- SCP-XXXX is to be contained securely inside of a dial combination safe that is bolted to and centered inside of a 30'x30'x30' room with no other floors below the room at all times.
- No one other than authorized Foundation Personnel with no religious beliefs, views or values may enter the vicinity and/or see a photograph of SCP-XXXX and only with approved authorization from three O5 Counsil members and passed an extensive psychiatric exam.
- After approved authorized personnel view either a photograph of, or SCP-XXXX itself, they must be detained until a full psychiatric exam has been performed and an authorization for release has been approved by three O5 Counsil members.
- Under no circumstances are photographs of SCP-XXXX to be taken without strict approval from six O5 Counsil members.
- All approved photographs taken must be immediately secured and handed over to another SCP team who were not in the vicinity of SCP-XXXX to be escorted to approve holding and research lab located on the Facility grounds.
- If personnel finds any photograph that they believe may be a photograph of SCP-XXXX, Initiate high security lockdown procedures and notify the O5 Counsil immediately and wait for further instructions.
- If personnel find unauthorized personnel around SCP-XXXX containment area, they are to be detained immediately and Special Team for SCP-XXXX contacted for retrieval.
- If you or members of your team seem to show any signs of devotion to any religion or a strong view of any beliefs while in the vicinity of SCP-XXXX or its photograph, initiate lockdown procedures immediately, detain the personnel in question or quarantine yourself and wait for further instructions.
- No one is allowed to discuss SCP-XXXX without strict approval and must be recorded for future evaluation.
- If any unauthorized personnel attempts to forcibly break into SCP-XXXX containment area and you are unable to detain, the use of deadly force is authorized.
- Any personnel who do not strictly follow these Special Containment Procedures will be immediately terminated.
Description:
SCP-XXXX appears to be a book of unknown age and origin that seems to attract those with strong religious beliefs and ideals within a 30 foot parameter around it and will appear to be some type of holy scripture of anyone looking upon it religion that must be secured and followed.
If anyone who does not have any religious beliefs, ideals or views come within the 30 foot parameter, they will not show any signs of being influenced by SCP-XXXX and if they find SPC-XXXX, nothing will happen but will appear as a black hardcover book with empty gold trimmed pages.
If anyone who is influenced by SCP-XXXX comes in contact with it, they will acquire what seems like the power of suggestion and have the ability to coerce anyone who follows the same religion or is weak willed to follow them and any order given without question until the order is completed or the person has died, we will refer to anyone who was influenced and came into contact with SCP-XXXX as SCP-XXXX-1 (Refer to SCP-XXXX-1 Addendum below) and we will refer to anyone who follows the orders of SCP-XXXX-1 as SCP-XXXX-2 (Refer to SCP-XXXX-2 Addendum below).
SCP-XXXX came to the Foundation's attention when a strange call was intercepted from ███████, Italy on ██December████ at ████ hours exclaiming that a group of radical religious finatic's were attacking all foriegn nationalities in the area and preaching that it was in the God before a loud scream followed by a loud crack sound, then all that was heard was background noise mixed in with muffled screams and laughter. On the orders of the O5 Counsil, SCP Special Quick Response Force ████████ lead by agent ██████████████ was dispatched to the area (see Addendum reports SQRF-1 to SQRF-3 for full report).
Upon return, SCP-XXXX was immediately placed inside a secured temporary holding area until an incident occured (See Addendum report SCP-XXXX incident-1).
Upon resecuring SCP-XXXX, it was immediately place in Euclid level security containment holding area for further research until enough was known to construct a permanent holding area, but one piece to note from the research is that a photograph or picture of SCP-XXXX will produce the same affects but on a much smaller scale. Special Containment Procedures:
- Authorized personnel who guard and/or given permission to view/visit with SCP-XXXX-1 must wear noise cancelling earmuffs at all times.
- SCP-XXXX-1 must be sedated at all times and mouth must be covered to prevent any type of sounds.
- If SCP-XXXX-1 wakes up, immediately go into lockdown procedures until re-sedation.
- If SCP-XXXX-1 breaches containment, deadly force is authorized unless further stated.
Description:
SCP-XXXX-1 is a human with strong religious beliefs who came into physical contact SCP-XXXX.
Once SCP-XXXX-1 has SPC-XXXX in their possession, they acquire the ability to coerce others into following them all in the name of SCP-XXXX-1 religious preference (Refer to SCP-XXXX-2 Addendum below)
Once a human with strong religious beliefs or ideals become SCP-XXXX-1, there is no known way to reverse the effects that SCP-XXXX has placed on them, even after losing contact with SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 still has the ability to influence those with strong beliefs and ideals around them.
Once SCP-XXXX-1 loses contact with SCP-XXXX, they will say that they must reacquire "The Good Book" (SCP-XXXX) and attempt to go on a pilgrimage of some type in the name of their God.
The longer SCP-XXXX-1 is out of physical contact with SCP-XXXX, the more agitated and aggressive they become.

SCP-XXXX-2 Addendum:

Special Containment Procedures:
If SCP-XXXX-2 is not in treatment:
SCP-XXXX-2 may be placed in holding cells meant for Class-D personnel but must be strictly monitored at all times.
Under no circumstances is SCP-XXXX-2 to be left unmonitored.
If containment breach occurs, initiate basic level lockdown procedures, detain if possible, if containment seems impossible, deadly force is authorized.
If SCP-XXXX-2 is in treatment:
Keep contained away from non-treated SCP-XXXX-2.
May be placed in Class-D personnel holding cells for the duration of their treatment.
Guarding personnel may carry Class I Amnestic to administer to SCP-XXXX-2 during treatment if a relapse occurs, notify the Treatment technicians immediately.
If full relapse occurs, Amnestic not working, immediately sedate and wait for further instructions.
Once SCP-XXXX-2 has been treated with Amnestic, pass a rigorous and extensive psychiatric examination and has shown no signs of relapsing back into SCP-XXXX-2, they may be released back into society with the approval of O5 Executive and be monitored for the next 6 months.
If any relapse happens during the 6 month monitoring, immediately re-contain.
Description:
SCP-XXXX-2 is a human who became influenced by SCP-XXXX-1 and will follow any order given.
Once SCP-XXXX-2 is given an order, they will follow it till they either complete it or die trying.
If SCP-XXXX-1 loses contact with SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-2 will become extremely aggressive and hostile.
Class-C Amnestic is the only way to turn SCP-XXXX-2 back into a normal human by erasing all memories up till the day before initial contact with SCP-XXXX-1 or Class-F Amnestic for full reprogramming.
