Special Containment Procedures: Big empty cell. Give sacrifice/tribute to appease. Not to be submerged in water. Not to be exposed to marine vessels or depictions thereof. Radiation shielding. In the event of containment breach, MTF "Crusty Bus-Station" will ensure that SCP is not threatened, and that it will gain continued sacrifices while containment is re-established.
Description: Giant lobster with railgun on its back. 2 m tall, 7.8 m long. Carapace is more blue than normal. Contains cobalt. Railgun uses cobalt-59 as molten projectile or cobalt-60 as radiation beam. On land becomes 7.8 m tall muscular woman with lobster head and claws. Not sapient or capable of communication. Does not require sustenance. Highly resistant to damage. Very aggressive in water, on land is docile if appeased.
Came to foundation's attention after reports of several marine and submarine vessels going missing in the western isles off the coast of scotland. Foundation sent submarine manned with team of agents to investigate. Upon making visual contact with SCP in shallow waters near a small, unnamed island, it attacked and the submarine was destroyed. One agent managed to survive, swim onto the island and send a message to the foundation. In the message he described what happened and that this random island has ruined structures on it. Awarded posthumously for valor in the line of duty.
Follow-up team investigated island, noting totems and effigies in the ruins depicting a lobster woman. They succeeded in baiting the SCP onto land, where it transformed and mistook the team for new worshipers, ceasing hostility.
Addendum: Guy becomes supplicant to SCP. Terminated. Investigation reveals no memetic abilities.
