Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Neutralized

Special Containment Procedures: Since any poster created by SCP-XXXX is not inherently anomalous, all remaining papers have been disposed of. SCP-XXXX is no longer able to able to be contained and has been designated the Neutralized class. See addendum XXXX-B for details.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a middle-aged caucasian male, standing 1.6 meters and weighing 67 kg. SCP-XXXX claims to be 41 years old. SCP-XXXX has the ability to seemingly erase individuals from existence. The way this achieved is through the creation of missing posters. Missing persons posters created by SCP-XXXX are collectively named SCP-XXXX-1, through SCP-XXXX-8.

A poster created by SCP-XXXX must have the following information in order for the disappearance to take place; Name, location last seen, time last seen. Note that time/location last seen is not required to be 100% accurate, but the individual's name must be. The moment the poster is affixed to a wall or surface (via tape, pins, or nails), the named individual will completely vanish from existence.

The disappearances will leave traces of their existence behind, including memories of kin, physical creations/writings, or otherwise non-biological materiel belonging to the vanished person. This includes clothing, earrings, and artificial body parts that were once on the person. It is hypothesized that vanished individuals re-appear somewhere else in the observable universe, but several investigations have confirmed this to be false.

Dr. Joseph: How are you feeling today?

SCP-XXXX: Nothin.

Dr. Joseph: Alright… Do you think you could answer some questions for me? There's some things we want to clarify about your past.

SCP-XXXX: Sure, yeah…

Dr. Joseph: So, what originally lead you to writing a 'missing' poster?

SCP-XXXX: Was my son. Went missing… 19██. The police said he got kidnapped.
Dr. Joseph: This made him vanish, like the others, am I correct?

SCP-XXXX: Unfortunately, yes… They just found his clothing in a pile in that bastard's basement. He swore that he just vanished.
SCP-XXXX: Other than those 'prisoners'?

Dr. Joseph: Yes.
