This is the Recovered Notes From SCP-087. Jonathan Smith was confirmed KIA after a month. He was sent to carry out Operation Descent. he never returned.
SCP-087 is a stairwell located on the campus of [REDACTED].
Dr. ██████: Please Continue down the stairwell, we need to go further.
Jonathan: Just because you guys hired me, does not in any way mean you get to boss me around.
Jonathan proceeds to go down. he stops about 15 steps away from the next flight of stairs.
Jonathan: There's a Kid down there!
Dr:██████: Ok, Noted. Continue please.
Jonathan continues downwards, stopping every once in a while.
A small light appears before the two.
The following footage seems too have cut off. it cuts back on after a while.
Jonathan is breathing heavily, he was rapidly running down the staircase.
Jonathan: DOCTOR? Where the-
A face appeared before Jonathan. SCP-087-1 hovered in front of him.
Jonathan: What is that thing?!
He turned his light to it before SCP-087-1 dissapeared.
The Footage once again cut out. it continued like this for about an hour.
when it cut back on, it showed Jonathan running through a system of tunnels, looking like a maze almost. Heavy Breathing was heard as he continued running downward.
Jonathan: Gah… Where am I even going?
Jonathan walked into another tunnel before a sudden creature ran at him.
The footage once more cut off. when it cut back on, something disturbing was found.
The crying and pleading noises from the child they heard stopped. the only noise now was static, the next room was in a circular shape. half of the room was cut off by a massive metal fencing. Lit fires and blood covered the floor.
written in blood was the words, (REDACTED)
Jonathan: What was even happening down here? this place looks like an arena.
SCP-087-1 appeared again, this time blocking the way out.
Jonathan: What?!
Blood started pouring in as the ground shook and a massive grate opened into the ground.
Loud Screaming and yelling was heard before the footage cut out.
