Item #: SCP-6852
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6852 is to be guarded by a minimum of 2 level 4 guards. No testing is allowed for SCP-6852 unless approved by at least one of the 05 command. If testing is allowed by at least three (3) O5 members, a minimum of 35 D-class are needed for figuring the correct route to the end. All D-class are required to have a clipboard, with a written description of which way they went for each fork. Any "wrong ways" should be marked with a square of red tape.
Description: SCP-6852 is a staircase with carpet flooring and particularly decorated wooden walls. there is no visible light sources in SCP-6852, even though it is always well-lit. SCP-6852 includes many directions to travel farther downwards, including 2-3 way forks. These forks each start with a door, leading to an 8 foot long hallway, ending with another staircase. This description is what makes up the known area of SCP-6852.
If one specific hallway is entered and the subject walks towards the center, when the subject is approximately 4 feet (1.3 meters) the door the subject entered will abruptly close. When the door is opened again, the body of the subject will show. This door is a "wrong way". If a subject goes through a different hallway, the subject will have no issues passing through and the door entered will not close.
Addendum A: So far, testing has gotten D-Class down past █████ iterations of the staircase (what should have been the other side of the earth and to low earth orbit.) no change in scenery has been shown other than darker wall coloration.
Addendum B: No signs of rot have shown on dead bodies, and autopsies show that the subjects died of suffocation, drowning, heatstroke and/or concussion for each body.
