Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a vacuum-sealed airtight container covered with an intransparent garment or fabric to avoid the visibility of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-A-1 - SCP-XXXX-A-14. The odour of SCP-XXXX-A should not noticeable unless the case that SCP-XXXX-A is contained within is opened, and the containment chamber door is unlocked.

Following the results of Addendum XXXX.3, the containment chamber door of SCP-XXXX should be watertight and airtight sealed, along with the placement of an airlock with hazardous and cognitohazardous cleansing properties fitted for exiting SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber. SCP-XXXX should only be interacted with by D-class personnel, admitted by personnel with clearance level 4 or above, unless in the case of rare exception ‘Codename: Extra-Breach2.0-SCP-XXXX’.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a packet of Extra branded sugar-free spearmint-flavoured chewing gum. SCP-XXXX has been observed to use telepathic communication to convince unsuspecting sentient animals (including humans) to take and chew a piece of chewing gum contained within SCP-XXXX (SCP-XXXX-A). Once under the effect of SCP-XXXX’s telepathic abilities, the subject refuses to fight a sudden and uncontrollable urge to take and chew a piece of chewing gum contained within SCP-XXXX. There is only one (1) piece of chewing gum within SCP-XXXX at any given time, this single piece has been classified as SCP-XXXX-A. Once SCP-XXXX-A-1 is chewed, the user of SCP-XXXX-A-1 will subsequently drop dead. The cause of this is yet unknown. See Addendum XXXX.1.

Once SCP-XXXX-A has been removed from SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX will immediately close, pause its telepathic abilities, seemingly regenerate a new, identical, SCP-XXXX-A, and subsequently resume its telepathic abilities. The previous SCP-XXXX-A that is no longer within SCP-XXXX is denoted as SCP-XXXX-A-1.

It has been noted that SCP-XXXX is limited to producing only fourteen (14) pieces of chewing gum, this is believed to be so as a normal pack of Extra branded sugar-free spearmint-flavoured chewing gum contains only fourteen (14) pieces of chewing gum.

Procedure: Research the structure of SCP-XXXX-A-1 - SCP-XXXX-A-14 to try and understand how it has and uses its telepathic and regenerative abilities, along with what makes it so deadly to chew.

Dr. Hawkes: Presumably poisoning the consumer?

Dr. May: Well how on earth can it conjure up such a complicated concentration of cyanide like this in seconds?

Dr. Hawkes: I’ve seen worse doctor May.

Dr. Watson: Dr. Hawkes, anything on the objects regenerative or telepathic abilities?

Dr. Hawkes: Unfortunately no. Its structure is identical to the structure of a regular piece of chewing gum by Extra.

Addendum XXXX.1 Review: All testing of SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-A-1 - SCP-XXXX-A-14 went as planned with zero (0) problems. It is still unknown how SCP-XXXX, a seemingly inanimate, insentient anomaly, has telepathic and regenerative abilities. However, we have concluded that despite the chewing gum pieces looking normal, they are laced with lethal doses of cyanide. Doctor May has proposed to further examine SCP-XXXX in the advanced lab at a later date.

Addendum XXXX.2 Review: Dr. Watson, Agent ██████, and D-8136 were found dead on the floor of SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber, with SCP-XXXX uncontained. The first response team of two (2) security officers also succumbed to the effects of SCP-XXXX-A and were retrieved along with the corpses of Dr. Watson, Agent ██████, and D-8136 by a team of three (3) appropriately suited security officers wearing cognitohazard deterring suits still in prototype, built specifically for dealing with SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX seems to have drastically improved its telepathic abilities and will be swiftly moved to a more appropriate containment chamber. Anomaly has been reclassified as Euclid until the appropriate Site and containment chamber has been located for SCP-XXXX. In the meantime, two (2) security officers should be posted outside SCP-XXXX's containment chamber at all times.

Special Containment Procedures: The current only known way of containing SCP-XXXX is to hold it in a Nexus-class gravity net with the use of the Nexus Satellite currently in low atmosphere orbit around SCP-XXXX. The Nexus Satellite was built and put in place to suppress SCP-XXXX consuming any more Nexus Stars and increasing its range of anomalous entities. See Addendum XXXX.5: Power, and Addendum XXXX.1: Entities.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a living planet of gigantic proportion, located in the Andromeda Galaxy. SCP-XXXX has minimal facial features on the surface of itself, including a mouth, ears and eyebrows, these facial features are visually similar to a human’s, except for SCP-XXXX having no:

• Eyes
• Nose
• Teeth
• Lips
• Eyelashes
• Facial Hair

SCP-XXXX has an indefinite amount of unknown anomalies on its surface, the amount of these anomalous entities sighted has ranged from one (1) anomalous entity to three-hundred and ten (310) anomalous entities at one time. It has been concluded that these entities have been created by SCP-XXXX (see Addendum XXXX.2: Creation). The motive for this is yet unknown (see Addendum XXXX.6: Motive).

SCP-XXXX has been confirmed to be a sentient entity, that once used echolocation to track and consume Nexus Stars in nearby constellations (see Addendum XXXX.3: Interview).
