Item # 5066
Object Class ; Euclid
SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES
Item SCP-5066 is to be kept in a locked copper-
based container, with access to water at all times.
The cage is to be misted with water daily. No more than three personnel are able to enter SCP-5066's enclosure at a time. Any personnel who enter SCP-5066's container must wear acid resistant wear, and if needed, multiple towels.
BEHAVIOR
While SCP-5066 appears to wander around aimlessly, but when in the presence of a human it will turn hostile and attempt to kill anyone nearby. It can be deterred by towels, as it is covered in a thin layer of slime.
It often sticks to the ceiling above the cell door, with its enormous hands ready to snatch an unsuspecting guard. Scientists believe that this is a hunting strategy. This is how it got its nickname, the Sticky Snatcher. It has captured one guard, and it smothered it in gel. The terrorized victim escaped the cell and said, “It Burns” repeatedly to nobody in particular.
DESCRIPTION
SCP-5066 appears to be a humanoid - skeleton soaked in a thin layer of slime. If SCP-5066 is dried, the dried area will go limp until it is soaked once again by the slime mixture on the surface of SCP . Many measures must be taken to not dry too much of SCP-5066, or it will lose any form of consciousness permanently. The slime is extremely corrosive. The origin of this slimy covering is unknown. Tests have been attempted on the slime, and it appears to have poisonous properties. It also appears to have a choice to corrode parts of the victim’s skeleton, such as the head. The skull is missing, only the jaw remains.
The base skeleton of SCP-5066 is believed to be over 50 years old. The skeletal system of SCP-5066 appears to be a skeleton of a small child, but with unnaturally long arms. The arms of SCP-5066 are 182 cm long, including the hands. It is believed to have captured people and corroded their skeletons, only to use them to grow its arms longer. The reason for this is unknown. It has no knowledge of human speech, and does not appear to have any language.
