Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
No communication of any kind is allowed with SCP-XXXX without direct permission from the O5-Council.

SCP-XXXX is contained in a large cell below Site-96 with thick, Chromium walls. The cell is supplied with a steady and continuous 50,000 mA, keeping SCP-XXXX dormant. In the event that SCP-XXXX shows signs of activity, Procedure Perdere Mentis is to be enacted, which consists of the following procedures:

  • The room's electric current is to be increased from 50,000 mA to 500,000 mA
  • The pistons lining the walls of SCP-XXXX's cell are to be powered, compressing SCP-XXXX into as small of an area as possible
  • Targeted arrays of memetic wave-forms are to be directed at SCP-XXXX

Description: SCP-XXXX is an entity of extra-dimensional origin, that, aside from a minor cognitohazard, does not possess any dangerous or concerning properties. It is vaguely humanoid in composition, with six tentacular extremities in place of limbs. Its flesh is red and malleable, surrounded by a soft translucent membrane. Despite the delicate nature of this membrane, causing any real or extensive damage is impossible, as SCP-XXXX's skin is highly absorptive. Any foreign object attempting to enter or section off flesh from SCP-XXXX will be unsuccessful in doing so, simply entering the membranous barrier and disintegrating. This process appears to be mechanical, rather than chemical, and is true for all materials tested thus far. However, SCP-XXXX is not resistant to all forms of damage. Blunt force trauma applied to large areas of the body causes SCP-XXXX to react with loud, incomprehensible noises, and reflexive drawback.

Communication with SCP-XXXX is possible through short-range telekinesis, however, prolonged mental exposure to SCP-XXXX has shown to cause significant neurological deterioration, particularly in the frontal and temporal lobes.
