Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained on-site in a 10 by 10 meter cube of concrete, and is to be air-tight. At least one guard is required to be stationed outside the entrance of this cube, of which the door can only be opened outward. The entrance to this cube will be monitored by CCTV. The entire complex is to be surrounded by a fence 10 meters away from the building. Entrance into the cube will require authorization by any level-4 staff.

SCP-XXXX-1 is contained on-site in a 5 by 5 meter concrete cube, measuring at least 0.5 meter thick (designated cube A), within another 15 by 15 meter concrete cube, measuring at least 1 meter thick (designated cube B). Both cubes are to be as air-tight as possible. At least one guard is to be posted at the entrance to cube A, and another outside the entrance to cube B. The door to cube A is monitored with a CCTV camera both inside and outside, and the door to cube B is only monitored with a CCTV on the outside. The entire complex is to be surrounded by a fence approximately 45 meter away from cube A. The door to cube B will only be able to open outwards. Entrance into cube A will be authorized by any level-2 personnel, and entrance into cube B will be authorized by any level-4 personnel.

SCP-XXXX-2 is to be placed on a podium inside cube A to the east wall. It must have a GPS tracker fitted on it at all times. Personnel are free to handle this object without authorization once inside of cube A. This object is not to be placed inside cube B unless authorized by two level-4 personnel. Under no circumstance is anyone to attempt to open the door to cube B while the object is not placed on the podium, or all personnel inside cube A will be terminated immediately (with the exception of any security staff).

Description: [DATA EXPUNGED]

SCP-XXXX-1 refers to an anomalous sphere of influence in which all matter ceases to exist. It is approximately 1.04 meters in diameter, 0.25 meters up from the ground, and filled with nothing (except formally with SCP-XXXX-2). The only way it was deduced that it is filled with nothing is that air is constantly rushing into it to fill the place of nothing. In this way it was also deduced that it does not affect the laws of physics (except SCP-XXXX-2).

SCP-XXXX-2 refers to an anomalous yellow object, hypothesized to be a cube. It is approximately 0.5 by 0.5 meters. It reacts very strangely with light, only appearing yellow and solid, but not producing any shadows. As far as our instruments can tell, it is only yellow. It does not seem to reflect any other light wavelength. Because of how it reacts with light, it makes it very difficult to ascertain its precise shape and size. Originally, SCP-XXXX-2 was suspended in the center of SCP-XXXX-1, and is theorized if it is placed back in SCP-XXXX-1 it will either stay in place or move back towards it's center. Other than the way it reacts with light and SCP-XXXX-1, it is non-anomalous.

SCP-XXXX was [REDACTED] in the remote parts of █████████. SCP-XXXX-1 is, as far as we can tell, unmovable. For this reason, it is contained on-site. SCP-XXXX-2 was separated from SCP-XXXX-1 upon █████████████████████████████████ on 26/██/████. During this event, the anomaly grew approximately 0.04 meters in diameter, and █████████████. This caused a hole to be 'opened' in the original building on the west wall. It is unknown what caused this event, if it will happen again, or if it can be prevented. SCP-XXXX-1 was found 12 meters west from the location of SCP-XXX-1, 11.3 hours after the event. Until this event, SCP-XXXX-2 was thought to be part of SCP-XXXX-1.

As a result of this event, SCP-XXXX was re-classified to object class Keter.
