Description: SCP-5071 is a gigantic extra terrestrial machine that emits immense heat around 5,678 Kelvin, and intense radiation. Similar1to S.D Locke's proposal, SCP-5071 is a spherical space station about 67,6847.053 km in diameter which emits intense light and heat. The last recorded interaction with SCP-5071 was with a satellite, said satellite has just returned from its thirty year orbit around the SCP.
SCP-5071 is said to have alien origin, and arrived at our solar system 2.5 million years before the creation of life on Earth. The heat, light, and radiation are used as a defense mechanism to keep us away from interacting with the unknown species. SCP-5071 has its own gravitational field that is uses to pull in meteors and comets to use as fuel for the gravitational field.
Discovery: During WWII, a Russian soldier spotted a large chrome colored object in the ground. The moment the soldier came in contact with the object, it melted the soldiers arm. When the soldier was carried back to the infirmary, she complained about the object being so incredibly hot, that she couldn't describe the pain that she was in. Later, she was rushed to a hospital in [EXPUNGED] and tested on. While she was being rushed to the hospital, she screamed in agony and complained that she was burning. What they later found out that SCP-5071-1 had been burning her from inside out.
Experiment 5071-1a: SCP-5071-1 had been put inside of a 2 inch by 2 inch titanium alloy box. SCP-5071-1 proceeded to melt the box from the inside.
Experiment 5071-1b SCP-5071-1 had been dunked in a small pan filled with liquid nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen stunned SCP-5071-1 for a short amount of time before it started bubbling
