Experiment 4117-01
Researcher in charge: Dr. Stannum Yeung
Date: 23/11/96
Procedure: SCP-4117 was to be placed in a room with a temperature of 300 Kevins for 10 minutes, at which point the temperature of SCP-4117 was to be documented.
Initial Temperature: 120.3 Kevins
Results: Experiment 4117-01 was aborted after 2 minutes and 31 seconds when SCP-4117 reached a temperature of [3/117 CLEARANCE REQUIRED]. Room CDS706 sustained severe fire damage. SCP-4117 was recontained by Agent Patrick, who poured 4 liters of liquid helium onto SCP-4117.
Notes: All subsequent experiments regarding SCP-4117 are to be held in either surface-level laboratories with good ventilation systems and window access or a temperature-controlled, sealed Containment Chamber at Sub-Level 9. -Site Director
Experiment 4117-02
Researcher in charge: Dr. Stannum Yeung
Date: 26/11/96
Procedure: SCP-4117 was to be placed in a room synchronized with SCP-4117's temperature for 2 minutes, at which point the temperature of SCP-4117 was to be documented.
Initial Temperature: 88.1 Kevins
Results: 90.3 Kevins
Experiment 4117-36
Researcher in charge: Dr. Stannum Yeung
Date: 29/12/96
Procedure: SCP-4117 was to be placed in a room synchronized with SCP-4117's temperature for 30 minutes, at which point the temperature of SCP-4117 was to be documented.
Initial Temperature: 60.3 Kevins
Results: 69.8 Kevins
Notes: The data we've collected during the past month should be enough for Matthew to figure out how 4117 works.
Experiment 4117-37
Researcher in charge: Researcher Matthew Lai
Date: 31/12/96
Procedure: SCP-4117 is to be placed in a room with a temperature of 300 Kevins for 30 seconds in order to verify the validity of the function devised by Researcher Lai.
Initial Temperature: 61.0 Kevins
Results: The function was not fully representative of SCP-4117's rate of heating.
Notes: More data is needed, Dr. Yeung. -Researcher Lai
Experiment 4117-93
Researcher in charge: Dr. Stannum Yeung
Date: 06/04/97
Procedure: SCP-4117 is to be removed of batteries by D-7689, who was equipped with a Bodmer Mk. I Proximity Suit.
Results: Upon opening the battery cover of SCP-4117, an explosion was triggered from the batteries of SCP-4117, killing D-7689 and injuring 5 more personnel. SCP-4117 was subsequently recontained with the use of [DATA EXPUNGED]. It was later estimated that the batteries of SCP-4117 possess a temperature of no lower than 300'000 Kevins.
Notes: Let's not do that again. With all the budget cuts to Site-038, we'll have to figure out another way to contain 4117 that doesn't require pouring liquid gold on it. - Dr. Stannum Yeung
Experiment 4117-103
Researcher in charge: Dr. Stannum Yeung
Date: 10/11/98
Procedure: SCP-4117 was to be placed in a room of approximately 300 Kevins for 1 hour.
Initial Temperature: 75.6 Kevins
Results: See Addendum 4117.1
