Hi there!

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

The Site 17 humanoid containment quarters of SCP-XXXX are to be padded with SOOMJ 60mm insulated soundproof foam to block all-acoustic resonance.

All interactions with SCP-XXXX must be carried out using written text and printed documents to avoid any mishaps. All recreational activities are to be carried out under strict supervision by level 3 personnel. No musical instruments of any kind are to be allowed in the containment quarters except on designated holiday occasions, when SCP-XXXX may be allowed to perform for staff under supervision. All staff must also be trained on safety measures for the subject’s two major health conditions, one of which is mental (schizoaffective disorder) and the other of which is physical (HIV).

Description: SCP-XXXX, formerly known by the name “Ming Dao,” is a 22-year-old female humanoid, 165cm tall, and weighing 61.2kg. Although Pre-extraction records show that SCP-XXXX also used the stage name “Rose Kiss”. SCP-XXXX is of Asian descent and fully understands formal Japanese and English. Despite that, SCP-XXXX is still unable to speak and remains permanently mute.

Upon performing the standard initial examination on the subject, researchers observed various scars throughout the subject’s body. Several of the scars were indicative of past surgical procedures, while the majority presented as signs of trauma indicating a history of physical abuse. Further examination revealed several organs had been extracted, including its trachea, kidneys, and gallbladder. Blood tests that were carried out revealed that SCP-XXXX was infected with HIV.

Given the absence of these key organs, researchers have as yet been unable to find an explanation for this. Of additional interest is the subject’s high level of proficiency with a variety of musical instruments, including the violin, piano, trumpet, flute, and guitar. Despite several early displays of aggressions, SCP-XXXX appears to have grown comfortable with site staff and now exhibits mostly prosocial behavior. The subject seems to enjoy performing music for the staff’s benefit.

SCP-XXXX’s anomalous traits involve the manipulation of background sound waves present in its environment to directly transmit hallucinations into the cerebral cortex of a human target. Early encounters before current safety measures were put into place suggest a range of approximately 6 feet, with observed frequencies from 124hz to 18900hz. The illusions seem to act primarily as a defense mechanism, as the subject’s behavior during these sonic attacks has been consistent with a threatened state. Medical examinations and subsequent interviews have revealed a history of widespread abuse, which seems to exacerbate the subject’s perception of threat.

On July 13, the Foundation became aware of a video posted online that depicted a humanoid that resembled SCP-XXXX. In the video, the humanoid was being chased by two unidentified hooded figures and evading capture using what seemed to be visual hallucinations. Shortly afterwards, reports were received that SCP-XXXX had been admitted to a hospital in Brescia, a city in northern Italy, and was being treated for multiple stab wounds.

The Foundation dispatched a team to Brescia; upon arrival, agents immediately tracked SCP-XXXX to its hospital room; however, before they could detain it, SCP-XXXX escaped once more by making itself invisible to agents.

On November 1, the Foundation received an anonymous tip that SCP-XXXX was in the custody of the Chinese mafia. A negotiator flew to Beijing on November 2 to discuss the transfer of SCP-XXXX’s custody. After a week of deliberation, the negotiations broke off; later that day, the negotiator learned that the subject had been sold to Marshall, Carter & Dark Ltd.

The Foundation sent Mobile Task Force Mu-3 to procure SCP-XXXX at an auction on November 13, where the subject panicked and created illusions. Several dozen members of the crowd were caught in these illusions and ten people died, including two Mobile Task Force agents. Amidst the subsequent chaos, SCP-XXXX disappeared.

On December 20, Foundation learned that SCP-XXXX had been discovered on a sidewalk in Hamburg, Germany, having fallen 30 stories from the rooftop of a building. According to local emergency dispatch records, an onlooker called an ambulance, reporting that the subject appeared to still be alive at the time. SCP-XXXX died en route to the hospital; however, it was resuscitated by medical staff.

By the time Foundation personnel arrived on December 21, SCP-XXXX was in a medically induced coma. It remained in a comatose state until hospital staff deemed its condition stable enough for transport. On December 23, SCP-XXXX was transferred to Site 17.

SCP-XXXX awoke on January 16, 24 days after its transport, inside the humanoid medical bay. Here it attempted to escape, but was too weak and site security was able to subdue it.
