Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in comfortable living conditions. Whenever requesting a movie, book, a certain food, etc. staff are to bring them said item as quickly as possible. A Television along with and a DVD player and a wide selection of movies are to be kept in it’s room at all times and added to often. Staff should know that entering the beings room although not yet proven fatel, has led to some anomalies; including nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, and headaches. In addition, SCP-XXXX, when in in enclosed spaces for prolonged times, will begin to distort gravity; making the room lighter to walk in or heavier depending on it’s mood. Whenever a staff member sees the first signs of distorted gravity they are to notify their superiors immediately in order to move the being to a new location.

Description: SCP-XXXX does not have a describable appearance, rather, it takes on multiple appearances from the inanimate objects it possesses. These objects are most often full body costumes, like those that mascots of football teams wear, or things such as knights armor. SCP-XXXX is omni-present and the part of it we have “contained” is just one sum of a much larger being. What we do have is a medieval armor set which it particularly enjoys staying in, which is why it stays around even though it could leave.

SCP-XXXX’s main concern in it’s life is being entertained. It hates being bored, thus the only way to contain it is to meet it’s ever changing demands. When SCP-XXXX is not being entertained enough, it simply focuses itself into another vessel until we can properly meet its demands. Fascinatingly, SCP-XXXX does leave the armor on occasion, but always keeps a little bit of itself in the armor, meaning that SCP-XXXX can possess two things at once. Although when it possesses two or more things at once it has trouble keeping full concentration. So, what it does is put one of the other things it is possessing in a sort of sleep state while it primarily focuses on possessing one thing. Though it can hear everything around all things it possesses, which is how we lure it back into it’s armor.

When SCP-XXXX is not fully in it’s armor there are a number of things it could be doing. Sometimes it simply possesses something to take a walk. Other times it goes and scares civilians by taking whatever thing it’s possessing’s head off to reveal nothing is in their. It should be noted that SCP-XXXX’s favorite holiday is Halloween, and it is quite challenging to get it distracted enough in order to keep it contained on that day. In the worst cases, SCP-XXXX has been known to kill people while wondering about. It’s reasoning for this is much similar to how some children find it fun to kill insects or animals.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered by a night guard in a museum. SCP-XXXX had been possessing multiple of the wax figurines and historical armors kept in the museum. It had been meticulously putting the figurines and armors into an elaborate show of sorts. The night guard walked into a room filled with all kinds of figures from all eras of history engaged in a frozen war. Then one of the figures, a knight's armor, looked at him and said hello. The night guard proceeded to run out of the museum and call the police. It eventually escalated to the point our special operatives were contacted to deal with it. SCP-XXXX co-operated very peacefully with our operatives when taken into custody. From there our foundation tested it, which it willingly went along with so long as we rewarded it properly.

The scientists asked it about it's origin, to which it responded that it did not know how it came to be. The scientists also asked it to possess a few things, ranging from inanimate objects to living beings. they discovered it can possess anything non-living, but sentient beings pose trouble to it; as the being it attempts to possess is still functional in it's own body, meaning that they both control the body at once causing much conflict. Eventually the scientists realized that they discovered all they could, so all resources then went to contaminating it.
