Seeking Greenlights: Doesn't Matter

Page Type: SCP Article, Tales

Genre: Horror, Drama/Emotional, History, Time-Travel

Page Layout: A large catalog of interviews, events, and journal entries give the history of a dimension.

Elevator Pitch: A portal opens once a month on earth for an hour. It leads into dimension similar in temperament to our own universe. However, once the portal closes, this dimension is devoid of both space and time. To make physics short, this dimension only exist in a physical sense when the portal is open on our world. To those inside the dimension, time moves normally, however the portal is always open and simply changes the time it opens to every hour.

Central Narrative: The narrative follows the research team over several years as the track the dimension beyond the portal. The portal does not open linearly in time. So each opening may be far in the future or past of the dimension. The research team pieces together the history of those that have lived, settled, and even evolved inside of the dimension in a disjointed non-linear order.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: The potential of plots that can or could have happened inside of this dimension are limitless. The first settlers could have been highly advanced being from our future. Known SCPs could exist inside the dimension from times beyond the foundation. The random openings can lead to anything out of time appearing at any point in the history of this dimension.

Additional Notes: It will take a lot of work to properly lay out the theoretical physics behind this SCP to make convey it in an easily understandable manner.
