Item #: SCP-001 - Dr. Anderson's Proposal
Object Class: Euclid
OUTDATED Special Containment Procedures: SCP-001 is to be contained in a 3x3x3 standard humanoid containment cell. Physical contact with the subject is strongly not advised, as it's current nature is not understood. SCP-001's containment chamber must have multiple layers of glass and stainless steel, — due to the acids in SCP-001's blood, discovered from it's initial discovery. —The glass then should be supported by stainless steel, which is at the back of the layers.
Note from Dr. Anderson: SCP-001's special containment procedures have been completely revamped, as new investigations and discoveries have occurred.
Revised Special Containment Procedures 001-1: SCP-001 is to be contained in a 6x3x6 meter humanoid containment chamber, with basic amenities, such as the following:
- Bed
- A sofa and a fireplace
- A kitchen
- A selection of books to read, usually in the fields of anatomy, biology and other related subjects.
While the inner section of the containment chamber must have a wallpaper on the ceiling and the wall, as well as a carpet made out of wall, the containment chamber itself is usually lined with glass, as SCP-001's acid in his blood has proven to be extremely corrosive, with a few exceptions.
Description: SCP-001 is a Caucasian male, approximately 2.49 meters (8 foot 2 inches) in height. The subject appears to be very wise, and adamantly gives valuable advice to Foundation personnel.
During it's initial discovery, SCP-001 appears to wear the traditional garb of the Plague doctor. It isn't clear if the subject is related with SCP-049, as further testing must conclude if it does. See Incident Log 001-B. The subject has tried to communicate with personnel, as it has became so "lonely" in it's containment chamber, and tries to give them valuable advice, as stated earlier.
The CCTV footage shows that SCP-001 from time to time paces up and down his containment chamber, even with a supplement of books to read.
SCP-001 has always been spotted with a case and a sceptre, but since has been confiscated by the Foundation to study on it's mechanics and to see if it has anomalous properties.
Note from Dr. Anderson: SCP-001's briefcase (now designated SCP-001-A), has been revealed to be anomalous. When we asked SCP-001, he hesitantly confirmed it.
Additional Note from Dr. Anderson: SCP-001's sceptre (now designated SCP-001-B), has been revealed to be anomalous. When we asked SCP-001, he did not directly answer the question on if it was anomalous and said, "You know it. You may find out in the future." During Exploration Log 001-A-1, the sceptre was revealed to be anomalous. See Document #001-B.
