On 1/1/1, the correct code had been inputted by 05-2, allowing access into SCP-XXXX's interior. The interior comprises primarily of an empty space, save for a large cube of similar composition as the exterior, within the middle. Implanted within the cube's surface is an small, rectangular device. Currently the only realised purpose of the device is to play a single video recording.

A person can be seen sitting on a small cube shaped object, within a dimly lit room. The person is only barley visible, with parts of their face and clothing being completely cut out by the darkness. You squint your eyes as you find the play button.
Interviewer: Hello, thank you for taking the time to receive our little package, it has taken an immensive amount of time and effort to actually pull this off. I suppose I should be relieved that your actually viewing this but I have no idea if who I hope to view this will actually ever view this, and honestly it could be said nothing will ever view this ever. We never got a package with a big fancy bow wrapped around it, so I might just be screaming into the void here.

If we are fortunate you likely recognize who I am. I am Donald Henderson, or otherwise known as 05-2, and today I would like to speak on behalf of myself, my organization and humanity as a whole to . So as I would assume you likely have a lot of questions, now of course I can't answer them in person so I will only be answering some of the most obvious questions you have. We watched as stars died and erupted into existence from their ancestors ashes, over and over again. It brang us closer together, as it was a sense of accomplishment. It was a way of saying we did it, we lasted this long so lets see how far we can go from here.
One day however we saw a star flash out of existence, but instead of another one replacing it soon after we had to wait for another to die. This was concerning for those who took notice for a little. This wasn't a one time thing however, as the number of stars that replaced the deceased ones was declining. Soon one star replaced five, then ten and so on.
And that's how we found out the universe was dying and getting replaced was beginning to decline
