This is what SCP-XXXX would look like inside of light.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a cell, to be exact a 4 m x 4 m x 4 m cell, the cell has to always be lit up, no shadows will be in sight, the doors locked. Before any personnel enter the cell they must get approval by Dr.████, or any 05 personnel. When personnel enter the cell, the area behind them must be lit up completely to prevent the SCP to start "moving" to any shadows, to prevent any sort of escape from the creature, the cell door will be relocked behind them. When referring to "moving" it is relating to either if the SCP teleports, or slithers through shadows.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid creature, approximately 1.8288 meters in length, and has an average humans body mass, it looks like an average human, but it seems it has no eyes, nose or any facial features, no sign of any hair, but it's skin is pitch black in colour. Located in Site-[DATA REDACTED], SCP-XXXX, origin in unknown at the time when writing this document.

The arms of SCP-XXXX seem to be more muscular then the rest of its body, but it has no change in it's appearance even with its unexplained strength in its arms. We believe that the strength in it's arms is related to how the SCP kills it's victims. All of the SCP's victims will hear loud breathing, that only they can hear when the SCP is getting closer to them. The SCP seems to also like hearing screams, not much screams of pain, but more the sound of regular screams. The SCP can also seem to be able to start "moving" through some of the smallest cracks, as seen in an interview.

SCP-XXXX can kill by "moving" through most shadows, via building shadows or shadows made by lights, although its uncertain why, the SCP can never seem to be able to start "moving"
through any living organisms shadow's, things such as humans or animals. SCP-XXXX kills its victims in the dark, once the SCP is "moving" through the shadows, it grabs it's victim by the
waist and pulls them down into the shadows, while cutting them off at their head, leaving a severed head left on the floor. We don't know what kind of place the body goes to but we believe that it could be somewhat like SCP-106's pocket dimension.

The SCP seems to be able to camouflage into any pitch of black, being able to camouflage in any sort of coloured shadow, but the SCP can only change it's colour into a black sort of colour. Most likely due to this fact, the creature gets weakened in the light, making it's strength go away, but still not its "moving". Further research is needed to figure out how to either completely or permanently stop it's "moving". There is also no information on how to terminate the SCP, only information on how to weaken the SCP.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX, has been in the Foundation's "care" since [DATA REDACTED], personnel will have to check the lights of SCP-XXXX's cell and the outer lights every few years, due to
the SCP needing light bulbs/ light to be contained.

Recall Protocol: To re-contain SCP-XXXX, a Class-D will have to lure the SCP back into it's cell, with the Class-D in the cell, they will start to scream, making the SCP go towards the Class-D, once the SCP is in it's cell, the Class-D will notify the personnel when the SCP is in the cell, as they can hear the breathing. Personnel will both be at the buttons to turn on lights and relock the door, being ready personnel will both relock the door and turn the lights on at the same time. Then weakening the SCP, thus saving the Class-D, but not all Class-D can survive this, sometimes the SCP can be to fast, killing them during re-containment.
