To all the personnel who plans to voice a complaint on the containment procedures,

Yes. I am fully aware of just how lenient they are. However, the O5 Council themselves ordered these changes. Furthermore, SCP-XXXX-B is completely benevolent and loyal to the Foundation. The Foundation has been and will be forced to commit horrible acts that keep us up at night in order to protect the masses.
I ask you. Knowing this, do you truly want to lock hope in a cage? Lock away one of the few things that are helping us cling to our crumbling sanity?
We are here to Secure and Contain anomalies in order to Protect normalcy, but we cannot do so as madmen or heartless machines. So please, think about this before filing your complaint.

Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in airtight containment locker 59-C at Site-17. Personnel handling the object must have the approval of SCP-XXXX-B and a level 3 or above Foundation psychiatrist. Interactions with SCP-XXXX that last for more than 1 hour must be done in a standard hazmat suit.

SCP-XXXX-B is to be primarily held in a standard humanoid containment cell when it is materialized for an extended period of time(over 24 hours) to assist the Foundation.
Due to the nature of its beneficial anomalous effects, SCP-XXXX-B is to be allowed level 2 access to Foundation facilities. Personnel are also encouraged to form emotional bonds with SCP-XXXX-B to lift overall morale.

Utilization of SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-B in the containment or capture of other anomalies must be approved by 1 or more site directors.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a 164.8 cm tall clay pithos with gold detailing. Although the object looks newly made, it was first discovered alongside non-anomalous household objects dating back to approximately 2800 BCE.

The surface of SCP-XXXX depicts folk heroes from a multitude of different cultures, including anomalous ones.
Aside from figures that would be known in the era in which it was possibly made, there are also figures from the present day, as well as unidentified ones theorized to be from alternate timelines or have not yet been born. As of 22/10/2022, a total of 51116 individuals have been counted, with 9180 identified.

SCP-XXXX passively emits pollen-like particles, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-A, that, when coming into contact with a lifeform that identifies itself as human1, induces a feeling of hopefulness, optimism and a reduction in stress level. If SCP-XXXX-A particles do not come into contact with a human being within approximately 14 days, they will automatically dematerialize.

Contact with a concentrated amount of SCP-XXXX-A can lead to an over-reliance on the object for mental and emotional stability and symptoms consistent with Serotonin Syndrome if exposure is prolonged.

SCP-XXXX-B is a humanoid entity that resides within SCP-XXXX. Although it is consistently described as a woman with "golden hair" and a "soft expression", descriptions beyond these features2 can vary greatly from person to person.

Non-human entities and technology cannot perceive SCP-XXXX-B. However, it can still interact with objects, though not without some difficulty.

SCP-XXXX-B is able to control SCP-XXXX-A at will. Consistent exposure to SCP-XXXX-B has proven to be a safe and effective way to significantly lessen the effects of anomalous and non-anomalous mental afflictions, but it is unable to completely cure them.

Addendum XXXX-1:SCP-XXXX discovery log.

On ██/01/199█, an excavation team consisting of ██ members were admitted to ██████ Hospital after the entire team started to experience what seemed to be symptoms of poisoning to varying degrees of severity.

Upon further investigation, all were determined to be experiencing antidepressant overdose and Serotonin Syndrome. However, there was no medication capable of causing said effects present within the excavation site, nor were there any signs of deliberate poisoning.

Field Agent Igider, who was embedded in the investigation team subsequently filed a possible anomaly report after the members of their team started to experience similar symptoms.

SCP-XXXX-B was discovered 1 year after the initial recovery of SCP-XXXX.
During a routine quality check on the containment lockers (performed by Researcher Pham), SCP-XXXX-B spontaneously materialized next to SCP-XXXX's locker, prompting her to alert site security.
It willingly cooperated with the security personnel sent to respond to it and was escorted to a separate containment chamber for questioning.

Addendum XXXX-2: On SCP-XXXX-B's request to assist the SCP Foundation.
On ██/██/200█, Dr. ███████, came to interview and assess SCP-XXXX-B and its motives3 as a representative of the O5 Council. 24 hours later, the Council approved the request to have SCP-XXXX-B operate as an asset to the Foundation and issued an update on its Containment Procedures to reflect this decision.
