Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is put on a table in a 12 x 15 ft room with a locked vault door. The room contains a single outlet connected to a generator in a separate room. The room is guarded by two SCP personnel, both armed with an M-16 Rifle with four extra magazines.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a "Trinitron WEGA "FS" Series" television, found within a demolished house in the forest next to the town of [REDACTED]. It was moved to Site 14 for further analysis. It is powered by an unknown source, displaying a white screen despite not having been plugged in. When plugged in there is no effect upon the screen other than light static, which doesn't seem to affect the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX. When a living entity touches the screen of SCP-XXXX, a flash of light emanates from the screen, obscuring both human sight and any camera for 2.9 seconds. While this occurs, the subject in contact with SCP-XXXX is transported to a random location within SCP-XXXX.
The locations within SCP-XXXX consist of many rooms and hallways. All rooms contain one table with four chairs, and a single window. The window, despite the layout of rooms directly in front of it, display white void similar in appearance to the screen of SCP-XXXX. It is confirmed to be the same as, when SCP-XXXX is plugged into any socket to display static, the windows also display the same static. SCP-XXXX is inhabited by humanoid entities, each standing at 5'8'', with crossed arms. Instead of a head, fused on the neck is a television similar in make to SCP-XXXX. It, as well, displays a white void with static consistent with the windows and SCP-XXXX, and is used as its own set of eyes. These entities will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-01. When an instance of SCP-XXXX-01 encounters another living creature, the entity pursues the being until catching it. Once it is caught, SCP-XXXX will force the being to touch the white screen on its head. Once this is achieved, the same exact flash of light that emanates from SCP-XXXX when activated, occurs from SCP-XXX-01. The being that touched the screen will vanish, seemingly within SCP-XXX-01. By hiding under a table, someone hiding from an instance of SCP-XXXX-01, can avoid it if they are both still and silent.
Addendum SCP-XXXX-01 A: After a test including a D-Class with a camera and Springfield XD-s pistol with 6 bullets, we have come to the conclusion that any instance of SCP-XXXX-01 can not be damaged by weapons of this caliber. Also, in a separate experiment, a room is discovered with a single instance of SCP-XXXX sits in the center, surrounded by 5 instances of SCP-XXXX-01. At the same time the D-Class discovered the room, another D-Class that was sent in five minutes after, was found by two instances of SCP-XXXX-01 and was forced to touch the screen of one. A flash of light occurs, and the camera footage shows [REDACTED]. When witnessed by the science team, they all had lost their eyesight permanently. Witnessed by those who hadn't seen the flash, the D-Class that was taken, appears in the room with the five SCP-XXXX-01, and is forced into the TV in the center. When the D-Class emerges, they have the TV common to an instance of SCP-XXXX-01, fused to their head. At this point, The D-Class who witnessed the incident flees from the room and runs into a chair in the next room. The camera that had been attached to his shoulder, had fallen off.. He is then pursued by the six SCP-XXXX-01 and is turned into a seventh instance. After he emerges from the room, and into the cameras view, he sets up the chair he had knocked over, and leaves. Within a few hours, the camera loses power and nothing else is observed, save for a few wandering instance of SCP-XXXX-01.
