Hoodi's Tales

"An Incredibly Frightening, Interesting Encounter with a Scary Pack of Wolves"

She was waiting. For what, she pondered. She was alone and afraid in the woods. She had an interest in powerful and deadly animals and so when told by the Foundation to observe these supposedly threatening, anomalous creatures to make sure they don't destroy the universe, she jumped in fear at the terrifying opportunity. But besides just watching them to make sure reality is safe, she didn't know really what she was supposed to be looking for in their unsettling behavior.

Researcher Amari sighed. Nothing interesting besides the bending of the fabric of the universe was happening with these godly wolves. She looked at her notes so far. She had been writing all day. She thought this would be scarily fun but, besides the incredible reality bending, they acted just like your typical wolves, like the kind she has already observed many a time in the wild. There was supposed to be some sort of world-threatening event happening (if the grim stories were unfortunately correct). But no, nothing.

She was about to pack up to leave until she saw something ominous. The descriptions of the wolves' activity had not changed but the wolves themselves appeared to be more terrifying and disturbing then they were before, as if they had made a change in reality to become stronger. This both intrigued and horrified her at the same time and she decided to write this down quickly before it was too late. She then realized that the wolves descriptions were still the same while the wolves themselves kept changing in an annoying and creepy manner that could lead to her demise. She pulled out a red pen and began to write on a new sheet something that was new and no longer a description of the wolves but a note in case she was killed by the wolves, not wanting to test anymore ideas.

The words she wrote remained in red but the wolves wanted to make her one of several new additions to their long list of meals. They remained still for a moment or two before leaping towards her. Their black, mangle fur made her scream in horror. She was done with the attacks from the wolves and so started to run away in an attempt to leave. She had no time or she would've packed up her things and then headed away from the wolves . She hoped she could've left in her truck but the wolves were fast. They surrounded her fast. She fell to the ground, cowering in fear. But the beings seemed to take pity on her and left to attend to unknown business. She ran towards her truck and got out of there ASAP. She made it back on site. Reporting her findings of terror , the Foundation then decided it would be efficient to contain these wolves if they could They were classified as SCP-488-JP and were classified as Euclid before being reclassified to a more fitting Keter to reflect the difficulty in capturing and containing creatures so grand. Researcher Amari is still haunted by those images to this day, she hadn't enjoyed the experience in anyway, and no longer likes powerful animals. She is glad that she is away from them. But she now realizes it was a mistake she introduced the wolves to the Foundation, making it more likely for others to get harmed by them.

The experience was overall unpleasant.
