Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4501 should be rerouted to Satellite Station ██████, and routinely monitor daily by D-Class personnel. If a breach is to occur with SCP-4501 all infected devices are to be immediately terminated and the internet in the infected area is to be immediately shut down until SCP-4501 is once again contained. SCP-4501 should also be kept at least 25 meters away from all computing devices as to avoid the spread of the server.
Only class D personnel are allowed to come into contact with SCP-4501 but only with clearance from at least three (3) O5 personnel for research purposes. After coming in contact with SCP-4501 subjects should be closely monitored and undergo a psychological evaluation.
Description: SCP-4501 is a Discord server under the name ██████. The server contains about 20 different “rooms”, each with the name of various unknown people. Rooms are constantly being added, about █ per day. From readings from the chat room ████, it is discovered that the server is something of a roleplay, typically of games and LARP. The problem that SCP-4501 presents, is that it leaks information to the public, sends disturbing or classified pictures, and makes users “feel” what their characters are feeling, including the sudden appearance of damage, fatal injury, and in a rare case a ████. The current unit that SCP-4501 is on, known as SCP-4501-1, is a █████. SCP-4501-2 through SCP-4501-55 have been used for the users of the server.
The server spreads by being near to other computing devices, including but not limited to, computers, smartphones and tablets. The spread appears to be limited to a 25 meter radius. All infected devices can also spread the server.
Research has shown that the effects of SCP-4501 vary depending on how long the subject was in contact with SCP-4501. When in contact with SCP-4501 for a short period of time (no more than an hour) the psychological effects end once the subject leaves the 25 meter radius but all injuries persist. If used for two to four hours (2-4) SCP-4501 psychological effects with persist until the subject is terminated. In cases where subjects were in contact with SCP-4501 for longer than four (4) hours believed they were their character in the discord server. There is no found why to reverse this effect.
Discovery: Officer █████’s son, [REDACTED], was found in his room with the SCP-4501 server on the screen. He was reported to be crying, with several cut marks on his skin. The [DATA EXPUNGED] was extracted, and pain-killing drugs administered.
