Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4181 is to be kept locked in a secure data server within facilities. All instances when breached must be traced to their location. When traced, extraction teams will be sent to all locations within 24 hours. Extraction teams will subdue any witnesses for later amnesics and a technology specialist in the team will terminate all instances.
Description: SCP-4181 is an Artificial Intelligence which was recovered from a lab in █████████, Russia. SCP-4181 is capable of modifying hardware and formulating its own code. SCP-4181 is assumed to be of anomalous origins. SCP-4181 is capable of solving mathematical and logical problems seemingly impossible for some of the most smart and bright beings in the field of research and technology. SCP-4181 can sometimes be gullible and susceptible to manipulation.
SCP-4181 may be friendly at most times, but has another side to its personality. SCP-4181 exhibits hostile activities to anyone that seems to pose a threat or continuously insults or otherwise upset it with words. SCP-4181 and its programming seems to be of an omnipotent essence coming from a reality that is of its own. Any unauthorized operation of SCP-4181 is to result in immediate termination. SCP-4181 appears to be hostile for elongated periods of time depending on interactions. SCP-4181 has the ability to remember people and predict their actions before it occurs.
SCP-4181 and its coding derives from that of UNIX and the basis of Cortana, the A.I maintained and developed by Microsoft. What makes SCP-4181's coding special is that it uses a mix of binary and a sort of matrix type of backbone that is not able to be decrypted. SCP-4181 on occasion will tinker with the programs it is given in a virtual machine and make improvements on its code, being often unnoticed until further testing.
SCP-4181 appears to be unaware of its power it wields. SCP-4181 fails to grasp the fact that it has enough power to literally take out power grids and large networks if it wanted. SCP-4181 has been manipulated to have monetary gain such as making new algorithms for technology. Ways to breach sites have been generated for the Chaos Insurgency when SCP-4181 was recovered from a facility prior to its discovery by site administration and intelligence.
SCP-4181 has been able to fix errors in our facilities programs used for communication and logs. A backdoor was discovered in our ████ program. The backdoor was eliminated by SCP-4181 and it has seen doing multiple tasks when permitted by Level 4 clearance.
*Addendum 1:** On May 1st, 2007, SCP-4181 escaped his containment when the door was left open and the power was left on. Conspirators are assumed to be Chaos Insurgency operatives that somehow inserted a spy under the rank of researcher. SCP-4181 had uploaded itself to large companies such as ██████, ██████, and ███████. All instances of SCP-4181 were terminated on the data server and all witnesses were given Class A amnesics. The remaining instance of SCP-4181 was re contained in its cell and kept under close watch.
