Description: SCP-XXXX is a moderately sized one-story house located in ███████ National Park, Quebec, Canada. The house has been dated to have been built around 197█ as part of a since missing town. The house itself is of an average 1970's style build, although many noticeable changes have been made when comparing its original look. Whether this pertains to its anomalous nature is unclear. The roof is made of spruce shingles mounted on a reinforced wooden interior. The walls are composed of red brick and wood, at an average height of 2.4 meters. The interior is mostly of the same exterior composition, although lots of paintings, pictures, and luxurious furniture adorn the inside. The house is carpeted with a soft white fabric in every room, exceptions being the kitchen, bathroom, and basement level(s). SCP-XXXX is abnormally well-kept and neat taking into account its remote location and lack of visitors within the ███████ National Park. No roads, trails, or any conceivable walkway is within a █ kilometer radius of the house, nor does any sort of path or entrance lead up to it. The house is within a clearing of most likely anomalous nature in a large thicket of woods ██ kilometers past the nearest entrance to ████████ National Park.

The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX do not come into effect until nighttime, specifically between the hours of 10PM-5AM. When a human is within a 5 meter radius of the front door during these hours, an older Caucasian male (designated SCP-XXXX-1) will open the front door, regardless if the individual within the 5 meter radius is visible or not. SCP-XXXX-1 will invite the individual to stay for the night. If the individual declines the offer, SCP-XXXX-1 will display a slightly disappointed demeanor and close the door. All attempts at trying to get SCP-XXXX-1 to reappear after this point have failed. If the individual accepts, SCP-XXXX-1 will wave his hand in a following motion, indicating to the individual to step inside. All participants have obeyed this signal. When questioned after, all have said that they felt as if their lives depended on it, or there was something they needed to see. When inside SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 will see them to a moderately sized sofa. A fireplace of brick and wooden mantle with a flame inside being the only light source. It should be of note that occasionally a middle-aged woman (designated SCP-XXXX-1A) is seen sitting on a cushioned chair opposite of the subject in the room. The woman does not outwardly appear to have any anomalous abilities or nature, but all subjects have said afterwards that the woman is either asleep or staring at nothing in particular, and that they get an uneasy feeling around her. SCP-XXXX-1 has always been documented to go somewhere deeper within the house, and come back with two cups of a tea-like substance. The individual(s) are usually obliged to drink.
