SCP-5024 in containment
Item #: SCP-5024
Object Class: Euclid
Threat level: Yellow
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5024 is to be contained in a well lit, steel 20 ft by 20 ft container with windows on all four sides. SCP-5024 is to be observed by 4 or more personnel at all times in order to not trigger a relocation event by SCP-5024-B. Personnel observing SCP-5024 are to be rotated regularly, in order to avoid SCP-5024's compulsion effect. If contact is broken in any way, all personnel on site are to immediately locate SCP-5024-B, along with SCP-5024 itself. If SCP-5024-B is not located within 1 hour, all civilians in the nearby area (500 km-1000 km depending on how close nearby civilians are) are to be evacuated immediately.
Description: SCP-5024 appears to be a copper statue of a dragon weighing approximately 11 kilograms. SCP-5024 is approximately 1 foot in height and 2 feet in length. The copper material that makes up SCP-5024 is resistant to any form of damage. Upon viewing SCP-5024 for more than 1 hour, the viewer begins to experience a compulsion effect, having the viewer build up the urge to touch SCP-5024, although this can be resisted with effort. Upon a user touching SCP-5024, the user will hereby be referred to as SCP-5024-1. Their upper intestine begins to rupture, losing approximately 1 liter of blood before being granted a "dying wish." This wish is to be uttered by SCP-5024-1 in their last moments before death. If the SCP-5024-1 is healed, and thus does not die, an instance of SCP-5024-A will be summoned. SCP-5024-A is a large creature, resembling a traditional Japanese mythical dragon, that is currently unmeasurable due to its nature of disappearing after attacking SCP-5024-1. SCP-5024-A passes through all solid matter, excluding SCP-5024-1, which makes it near impossible to avoid the termination of SCP-5024-1. Upon eyesight breaking with SCP-5024, an instance of SCP-5024-B is summoned. SCP-5024 is a humanoid figure made up of stone, presumably granite, which attempts to relocate SCP-5024 near any unsuspecting, or unaware individual. SCP-5024-B does not seem to relocate near individuals who are aware of the nature of SCP-5024. When a person views SCP-5024-B, it seems to relocate within 2 seconds.
Recovery: SCP-5024 was found and recovered when the African Police Force started to receive multiple missing people reports from a rural area in [REDACTED]. Upon 4 different police officers going missing with the radio messages coming up inconclusive with evidence, MTF unit Epsilon 6 "Village Idiots" were dispatched to the area. SCP-5024's properties were discovered with the death of Officer █████, whose family was informed that they died in action; and SCP-5024 was relocated to its containment chamber via remote means, and was placed inside without incident.
