**special containment procedures:* SCP 5270 is to be kept in a 10 metre by 10 metre holding cell. it is to be allowed out of this room for 1 hour for medical check ups. under no circumstances is it to be allowed out of its cell for more than 6 hours.

description: SCP 5270 is a male humanoid child of 14 years of age. it has red, shoulder length hair and freckles all over its face and its right eye is blue and its left eye is green. its anomaly's property is as follows: If SCP 5270 is in contact or close proximity to anything for 6-8 hours, flora such as mushrooms or grass will begin to grow on said surface. these plants are unlike any sort of life form known on earth. They can grow to enormous sizes and most grow at approximately 10 times the speed of normal plants. Furthermore, if SCP 5270 is still in contact with surface for another 12-18 hours, small insects will appear out of seemingly nowhere. If another 72-98 hours of close contact to surface happens, animals like nothing seen before will appear, and the space holding these entities will rapidly increase in size until it is 10 times how large it was at the beginning. Some entities and flora are extremely aggressive, so SCP personnel are advised to stay away from any animals or plants exhibiting any sort of aggressive behaviour. If SCP 5270 is removed from area in which the ecosystem is growing, it will die out rapidly. All entities that come from SCP 5270 are always friendly towards SCP 5270. All attempts to study these entities have failed as they die too quickly from being away from SCP 5270.

SCP 5270 was discovered in 2006 in a street by Dr [redacted] when it was only 2 days old. it had been left on Dr [redacted] front porch by an unknown person. after a day, Dr [redacted] noticed SCP 5270s anomalous properties and brought it into the foundation at once.
