Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept within a 3mx3mx6m containment cell, with bulletproof plexiglass for viewing. Four cameras are placed within the containment cell, one in each top corner. After a host is claimed by SCP-XXXX, the bulletproof plexiglass should be reinforced and blocked off with a 10-centimeter thick steel sheet and all doors bolted shut as well as reinforced. Under no circumstance is this to be interrupted at any point until a security member with Level IV clearance or higher gives the order to do so. The calling off of this isolation should only ever be done if SCP-XXXX has finished consumption as well as digestion of all body parts. There is no need for a direct viewing of consumption other than the camera feed from the containment cell as it only endangers the staff of the site.
All operations and handling of SCP-XXXX should be strictly done with hazmat suits or with fully covering clothing. No skin should ever be exposed when present within the containment cell of SCP-XXXX. Any personnel left behind in the isolation should be considered deceased upon sealing off of the containment cell. If possible without incident, the saving of security personnel is requested. However, if there is any chance of a possible containment breach by doing so, the risk should not be taken.
After each testing, SCP-XXXX should remain in isolation until the structure has deteriorated and SCP-XXXX is no longer capable of movement outside of having a host. If any deviation from this is to occur, those responsible may be faced with termination for endangering the facility.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a thick layer of skin in the shape of a human, with a zipper made out of a white, enamel material along with a large, maxillary central incisor as the pull tab. DNA testing has shown the teeth to be identical to that of the teeth from subjects consumed. This zipper goes from the forehead to the lower abdomen of the suit and is used to fully encapsulate subjects as well as to not stretch out the suit too much while it thins out its subject. The suit has four gastric glands within it, using them to speed up the process of digestion and consumption. This gastric acid has varied between 0.5 and 0.3 on pH Scale testing, making researchers question how SCP-XXXX has not digested itself. Additionally, the suit has three glands containing formaldehyde. These are used to preserve limbs and parts that are spat out during host transfer. This is the only known excretion function the suit has.
The suit has no discernable facial features and appears to be akin to that of a basic template of a human. The suit has no discernable gender either, despite its epidermis matching genetically to that of the genus, Homo. It has often been remarked as looking similar to a skin-tight suit that is too thick and heavy to wear.
SCP-XXXX is activated when skin to skin contact occurs between the subject, designated SCP-XXXX-1. Once SCP-XXXX is activated it will proceed to latch onto SCP-XXXX-1 and begin molding onto it. After a period of █ minutes, it will fully mold onto SCP-XXXX-1. The zipper remains open and SCP-XXXX-1 is able to speak and think freely. However, SCP-XXXX-1’s movements are restricted to the movement of SCP-XXXX. No matter the physical state of the subject, SCP-XXXX will always adjust to the needed size and begin to slim down. SCP-XXXX does this using its gastric glands to begin digesting the fats of SCP-XXXX-1, though it seems incapable of digesting the subjects thick bones and spares the ribs. These bones are often used as armor or, rarely, as structure when SCP-XXXX does not have a host. This is not a process that is particularly fast and tends to cause intense pain to SCP-XXXX-1, who will most often die of shock before the one week consumption period can begin. SCP-XXXX will often overextend tendons and break bones in order to perform inhuman feats, such as enhanced agility and overall strength.
SCP-XXXX has been documented with a punch of ████ Newtons of force, breaking bones and thinner steel plates, immediately on impact. However this kind of force will almost always overextend tendons and break bones depending on the target of the strike, the chance of this happening varies between different subjects usually relying on how physically fit the subject is. SCP-XXXX will often mend and correct these bones, using its boney armor as a splint. SCP-XXXX-1, remaining conscious, will often attempt to struggle before this point. They will usually begin to lose consciousness around the first strike SCP-XXXX delivers, or they will die of shock at this point.
After around 24 hours of a host being used, they will succumb to the gastric acid and become too skinny or mangled to properly walk or move without breaking bones. If the suit has a nearby suitable host, it will excrete an intensified, gelatin-like, formaldehyde-based substance and spit out parts of the previous host that was in the process of digestion. After this, it will peel itself off of the current host and begin to mold onto the next.
Discovery: SCP-XXXX was first found in downtown ██████ when a report came in of people disappearing without any trace of abduction or human DNA in missing person's homes. The Foundation was alerted when a limb covered in a thick coating of formaldehyde was found in an alleyway on █████ Drive. This was incredibly strange as the public had no direct access to formaldehyde, especially in such portions. During an investigation that ██████ Police Department was conducting, SCP-XXXX attacked, engulfing the arm into its mass. At the time SCP-XXXX had been feeding on the city, going from host to host to keep itself well fed.
SCP-XXXX was shot 28 times by six different officers. The bullets were engulfed into its mass, then removed when no nutritional value was found. SCP-XXXX then proceeded to look at the officers and jump onto the nearest fire escape to then launch itself onto the roof. The Foundation was notified immediately and two agents were sent to try to find and locate common spots used by SCP-XXXX.
Once a pattern was found in its movements, an immediate quarantine was established and a 1-mile area around it evacuated under the ruse of; "High Sinkhole Probability Area". A 5 man squad from Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6 were sent to contain SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX widdled this 5 man squad down to 2 men after 4 weeks of containment attempts. SCP-XXXX was contained using 10-centimeter thick, steel box that was dropped onto it by one of the operatives from Mobile Task Force Epsilon-6. After containment was achieved the quarantine was lifted until further notice.
