Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard anomalous object containment unit containing a specialised membrane based interface that allows for blood plasma to be harvested by SCP-XXXX from a container. Plasma is to be supplied by a stable population of 3 common farm pigs which are reared on site.
As of [placeholder], all personnel involved in the containment of SCP-XXXX or who will be are to undertake the 'Mosquito Information Workshop' headed by Researcher [placeholder]. This contains various presentations and seminars on mosquitos intended to evoke feelings of interest and empathy towards mosquitos. Before staff members may be assigned to SCP-XXXX they must complete a test [placeholder] where participants must remain in a room with at least 15 culex pipiens specimens for 10 minutes without reacting aggressively.
In case of an unplanned or uncontrolled event personnel are required to enable humanoid scrambling algorithms if available, if not personnel must cover their eyes and instruct all others to do the same. If civilians are present it is imperative that they are safely escorted to safety and later amnestised when it is safe to do so.
During testing, site security are to be on standby to recover any former SCP-XXXX-1 instances that have breached containment.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a member of the species culex pipiens, otherwise known as the common house mosquito. SCP-XXXX is incapable of being maimed or injured either narrowly avoiding or anomalously phasing to safety. SCP-XXXX is believed to be immune to the effects of ageing having survived for at least 1██ years and can survive without nutrients although it does pursue food.
When a subject becomes aware of SCP-XXXX via sight or sound they are designated SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX's primary effect manifests. SCP-XXXX-1 will then begin to feel mild annoyance towards SCP-XXXX which gradually increases in a severity over a span of 2 minutes. Behavior consists of swatting, striking and occasional utterings of expletives consistent with exposure to culex pipiens. At some point during this period SCP-XXXX-1 loudly exhale, before orally challenging SCP-XXXX to a fight or duel. The language used varies but is always antiquated and often the words used are not known by SCP-XXXX-1. Following this, aggression in SCP-XXXX-1 towards SCP-XXXX increases drastically and SCP-XXXX's secondary effect manifests.
SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to strike or otherwise terminate SCP-XXXX using any nearby objects and/or their own hands. SCP-XXXX-1 exhibits drastically increased strength which increases gradually with duration of event. SCP-XXXX-1 has been observed carrying and manipulating objects of up to 1███ Mg . Every attempt to damage SCP-XXXX made by SCP-XXXX-1 will invariably fail often with effects detrimental to SCP-XXXX-1 or those around them that would result in grievous bodily harm. However during this even SCP-XXXX-1 is almost entirely immune to damage of any kind, instances have survived:
- High force impact with steel
- A roof collapse
- An impact of an Oak tree trunk to the cranium
- A plane crash

In each of these incidents injuries sustained consisted of bruising and prominent swelling both of which dissipated in a non-anomalous amount of time.
During an interaction with SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 will yell phrases consistent with those common in Victorian Era Britain directed at SCP-XXXX. Usually this is insulting in nature although it is apparent that SCP-XXXX-1 respects SCP-XXXX often calling it a 'worthy opponent' or 'mighty foe'.
If an additional individual encounters an active event and observes SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1 then they are considered SCP-XXXX-1-X and demonstrate behavior consistent with SCP-XXXX-1. Only staff members who have successfully passed test [placeholder] are unaffected. The only change noticeable is that instances of SCP-XXXX-1 demonstrate cooperation in their attempts to harm SCP-XXXX, often causing only further harm to themselves and other instances. After approximately 6 minutes SCP-XXXX phases to the location where SCP-XXXX was recovered the office of Researcher [placeholder]. It is worthy of note that the duration of a SCP-XXXX event increases cumulatively with instances of SCP-XXXX-1 with events of up to █ days, ██ hours and ██ minutes in length having been recorded.
