Description : SCP-XXXX Is a group designation of a half a dozen entities located in the bottom of ██████ trench off the coast of ███, Mexico. SCP-XXXX have been observed to travel up to 22.3km away from the base of the trench while prowling.

SCP-XXXX are a group of nonvertebrate bioluminescent gelatinous spheres, varying in size from 1m to ██m in diameter. SCP-XXXX also had no observable organs or brain, but shows high intellect. SCP-XXXX is capable of advanced hunting tactics such as:

  • persistence hunting
  • cutting off targets
  • creating large splashes to confuse prey
  • using bones of past prey as intimidation method

Farthest known location SCP-XXXX has been away from the ██████ ocean trench.

Once SCP-XXXX has brought its prey to a complete stop, it will attempt to remove whatever the prey is using to stay afloat. this process can take anywhere from 0-33 minutes depending on what equipment the prey is using. The method SCP-XXXX uses to destroy the prey's usage of floating is currently unknown, but they can be driven off with a combination of hydrochloric acid and asbestos.
Upon the destruction of the flotation device, SCP-XXXX will then circle the prey until the prey drowns. upon the drowning of the pray, SCP-XXXX with then consume the prey and then over a course of 3-██ days. After consuming prey SCP-XXXX with undergo a dormant state that will last for 1-2 weeks depending on size. During this state SCP-XXXX will grow in size from 1m-█m. upon growing, SCP-XXXX will resume normal functions.
