Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an airtight cell. No foundation personnel is to enter the cell without a protective suit. To avoid escape of any instances of SCP-XXXX-A, smoke is to be pumped into the cell of SCP-XXXX whenever Foundation personnel enter the cell.

If experiments are run on venom from SCP-XXXX-A, venom is to be extracted from instances of SCP-XXXX-A, and injected into subjects.

If possible, Foundation personnel are to place GPS trackers on all instances of SCP-XXXX-A. The apparent locations of instances of SCP-XXXX-A are to be monitored at all times.

Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a honeybee queen, and indirectly controls instances of SCP-XXXX-A, which resemble non-anomalous honeybees. Instances of SCP-XXXX-A possess venom that is capable of transforming the DNA of human subjects. These incidents have recorded changes in height, skin tone, and sex.

When venom is administered, SCP-XXXX-A changes the subject’s DNA. All humans that have interacted with the subject forget the subject’s original face and believe that the subject’s face has never changed. Foundation personnel who are aware of the effects of SCP-XXXX-A are capable of understanding that the subject was different in the past, however they do not remember what the subject’s original form looked like. Any photos of the subject remain identical, however unless informed by the subject, it is impossible for anyone to remember who the photo depicts.

DNA samples, such as blood, from a victim of SCP-XXXX-A do not change after SCP-XXXX-A administers venom, allowing for Foundation personnel to compare the DNA of D-class Personnel prior to and after venom is administered.
One subject that has reported a deadly allergy to honeybee venom has been administered with venom from SCP-XXXX-A. The subject survived.

While non-anomalous honeybee hives produce honey, hives controlled by instances of SCP-XXXX, known as SCP-XXXX-B, produce a deep orange fluid that has been determined to contain human blood. A DNA test of the fluid shows that it contains blood from the original forms of three D-class personnel who were administered with venom from SCP-XXXX-A. Before SCP-XXXX-B was taken into foundation containment, this fluid was sold by honey farmers, who believed it to be non-anomalous honey. D-class personnel who tasted this fluid reported it tasted indistinguishable from non-anomalous honey.

Even when no instances of SCP-XXXX-A had access to human blood, the fluid was produced. This has resulted in speculation that instances of SCP-XXXX-A have somehow left the facility where it is kept to siphon blood from civilians. Despite this, there have been no reported incidents involving SCP-XXXX and civilians since it was taken into foundation containment, and no instances of SCP-XXXX-A have shown GPS signals from outside its cell. Dissection of instances of SCP-XXXX-A show no human blood inside the body of SCP-XXXX-A. These dissections show that instances of SCP-XXXX-A lack organs involved in honey production that non-anomalous honeybees possess.

Despite being very aggressive to humans, SCP-XXXX-A seems disinterested in non-human subjects. Administering venom from SCP-XXXX-A by foundation personnel to non-human subjects, whether anomalous or non-anomalous, showed no change in DNA.

Civilian victims of SCP-XXXX-A are difficult to locate, as all other civilians forget the incident ever occurred. Nine victims of SCP-XXXX-A were found in insane asylums after their families believed they had lost sanity. One victim posted about an incident on social media, and his dog did not recognize him. All ten victims were administered amnestics.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was found in a beehive in █████, Saskatchewan, Canada on ██/██/2012. When SCP-XXXX was removed from the hive, the instance of SCP-XXXX-B that was left behind chose a new queen, which would be classified as SCP-XXXX-1. Both SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 were taken into foundation containment.
