SCP-XXXX during initial capture by MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots")
Special Containment Procedures:SCP-XXXX is currently located at site 45. SCP-XXXX must be contained in a 7.62 by 9.144-meter room constructed of reinforced concrete with an observation room overlooking the room. SCP-XXXX has agreed to cooperate with the foundation and is willing to share information with us, due to this an audio system must be built in the room so that SCP-XXXX and any researchers many communicate.
Due to the fact that SCP-XXXX can teleport at will using [data expunged by order of the o-5 council] and that all known methods have failed at preventing its teleportation, SCP-XXXX has been outfitted with a GPS tracker. At least one person must be observing SCP-XXXX at any given time to ensure that foundation high command is informed if it teleports. In the unlikely event that SCP-XXXX teleports without prior authorization from at least two senior researchers, the o-5 council must be alerted immediately and MTF Alpha-1 ("Red Right Hand") will be deployed to re-contain it.
Description:SCP-XXXX is a sentient black metallic liquid that can move and contort seemingly at will though it most commonly takes the shape of a sphere. When taking other shapes SCP-XXXX can condense or expand itself at will being able to be as small as a medium-sized palm of a hand to as large as a three-story building though it is speculated to be able to grow even larger. Any contact with SCP-XXXX will cause the liquid it is comprised of to harden to a solid metal that is seemingly immune to any known types of modern weaponry.
SCP-XXXX possesses the ability to levitate and commonly uses this as its main form of locomotion though how it is able to do this is currently unknown. Despite this SCP-XXXX is capable of walking and will commonly do this when it takes a form similar to that to a humanoid though SCP-XXXX has levitated even in this form showing that it is a voluntary restriction. When SCP-XXXX contorts the black liquid is still clearly visible and no recoloration takes place even when it contorts to resemble another object or being.

It has been learned that SCP-XXXX can emulate human speech via vibrating itself in a certain manner thus causing sound waves to be emitted and heard as words that SCP-XXXX is saying. SCP-XXXX has been observed speaking English, German, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Afrikaans, and Korean. It also claims to know far more languages including Latin, Zulu, Gothic, Somalian, Hindi, and many other contemporary and dead languages though none have been confirmed by foundation staff.
SCP-XXXX claims to have extensive knowledge of not only human history but that of the foundation's as well. This has been confirmed by ten foundation historians, all stating that SCP-XXXX has excruciatingly precise details about historical events as well as multiple SCPs the foundation has in its possession. This is further backed up many historical photos and reports believed to be connected to SCP-XXXX (see Prior records of SCP-XXXX for more info)
Initial containment:SCP-XXXX was contained by MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") in the small town of ████, ████. The location of SCP-XXXX was learned about after it contacted the foundation directly on ██,█,2015. SCP-XXXX contacted the site director for site ██ via phone call and under the alias "Black sun" though it is currently unknown how SCP-XXXX was able to do this.
SCP-XXXX claimed it wanted to help the foundation and on several occasions went into explicit detail about SCPs the foundation had within its containment as well as documents pertaining to itself during the call. SCP-XXXX told site director ████ that it would be in the town of ████, ████ on ██,█,2015 at 19:00. There was an attempt to backtrace the call tough this proved unsuccessful.
the town of ████, ████ was evacuated under the pretense of the towns water supply being contaminated by high levels of arsenic. MTF Epsilon-6 ("Village Idiots") was then deployed to the town to await the arrival of SCP-XXXX. At exactly 19:00 SCP-XXXX "appeared out of thin air" over the center of the town where it then proceeded to levitate according to the members of Epsilon-6. The MTF unit then set up a defensive perimeter around the center of town and set in a squad of six to retrieve SCP-XXXX.
The squad moved in directly under SCP-XXXX and this point two foundation AH-64 Apache helicopters were overhead and ready to engage SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX then preceded to descend to the team. One of the MTF members mistook this as a threat and fired six shots from his rifle though all of the shots bounced off SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX still continued to descend and then morphed into a small palm-shaped box into the squad leader's hand. SCP-XXXX was then extracted to site 45 for containment.
Addendum:following an incident during SCP-XXXX's initial interview conducted by researcher Schulze where SCP-XXXX demonstrated the ability to detect Schulze's infection by SCP-(cross link). The 05 council has voted to reclass SCP-XXXX from Keter to Thaumiel and hopes to use it to detect, contain, and prevent outbreaks of pathogen-based SCPs. (see SCP-XXXX interview logs for more info.)
