Item #: SCP-4218
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4218 is to contained at Site-███. SCP-4218 is to be contained in a lead-lined foundation chamber with ventilation shafts that are prepared to pump CS gas into the chamber.
6 Foundation security personnel must be assigned at SCP-4218’s chamber at all times. If SCP-4218 is to attempt an escape, lethal force is authorized and the deployment of CS gas. Failure to do so will be met with immediate termination. All Foundation guards assigned to SCP-4218’s chamber must be equipped with CS gas grenades, assault rifle launchers with the capability of CS grenades attached to their weapons, and a gas mask. Any and all personnel entering SCP-4218’s chamber must be wearing a gas mask.
Description: SCP-4218 is a humanoid figure wearing an Austro-Hungarian cavalry uniform from World War 1. All attempts to remove the uniform are reported unsuccessful. SCP-4218 body looks as if it has been heavily burned and decomposed except for his face which seems to be not affected from any external factors. SCP-4218 does not speak often though it’s vocal cords, mouth, teeth, and tongue seem unaffected from the constant decay. SCP-4218, when angered, releases an odor compared to rotting and burning flesh. On 8 odd occasions, when not requesting food, has SCP-4218 spoken. A few notable times when SCP-4218 has spoken was after the breach on 10/28/████ and in a test involving a false human prize.
SCP-4218 produces a reddish brown substance with the consistency of tree sap from it’s hands and feet. Tests have shown that this liquid has the same chemical make up as human blood. SCP-4218, even though having anatomy similar to the human body, does not show vital signs like a heartbeat or electrical impulses in the brain. Attempts to destroy SCP-4218 prove unsuccessful. After sustaining fatal damage, SCP-4218 will form into a puddle of the same substance that is produced from its hands and feet. Attempts to remove the liquid from affected surfaces have never completely cleared the viscous substance, making it impossible for the Foundation to terminate SCP-4218. SCP-4218, after a 24 hour period, will rise out of the substance, immobile and docile for a period of 2 hours. CS gas has also been noted to render him immobile and in a trance-like state.
If any food is asked for by SCP-4218, no matter what food he requests, the request is to be denied as it can survive without sustenance. Usual requests consist of living small animals like mice, rats, dogs, and on rare occasions, SCP-4218 may request humans and human limbs
Addendum 4218.1: Discovery
SCP-4218 was found in a morgue after reports of a blood-like substance and a horrible smell behind the building. Security and authorities found SCP-4218 consuming the leg of a corpse who, in response, opened fire. The authorities contacted the Foundation after SCP-4218 had sustained enough damage to revert to his liquid form. Foundation response teams tried to move the liquid but were unable to move it due to it’s clinging properties. Once the area was secured, Foundation and local personnel used multiple techniques to move the liquid, all of which failed. SCP-4218 appeared from the thin stain, paralyzed and seemingly inactive. Foundation personnel proceeded to secure SCP-4218 and administer Class A amnesiac to local authorities and morgue security.
Addendum 4218.3: Breach Reports
During a considerably sized containment breach, SCP-4218 found his way into Dr. ██████’s office, where she was hiding. The autopsy ran on her body after the breach was successfully contained hinted that SCP-4218 had killed Dr. ██████ via strangulation.
