HYDROZEN SANDBOX 2
Impetus | Object has breached containment into potential civilian areas, though is capable of being managed slowly by the Foundation. Specifically used for anomalies with a mass number of instances.
SCP-000
NOTICE: SCP-000 has been removed of its Thaumiel class and re-classified to Gevurah class since Incident 000-01.
Item #: SCP-000
Object Class: Thaumiel Gevurah1
Special Containment Procedures: Due to Incident 000-01, all instances of SCP-000 must be destroyed upon detection along with files corrupted by SCP-000 to prevent further spread. Foundation WebGuard-E032U1 currently intensively guards the entire Foundation database to prevent any potential harm to classified files.
The idea of the storage of all SCP files in case of a mass database corruption is currently being considered. At least 5 physical documents regarding SCP-000 should be within the custody of the Foundation, and may be distributed among multiple sites.
Description: SCP-000 is the anomalous corruption of files. SCP-000 has proven to be able to bypass all known security measures relatively quickly, and corrupt files quickly. Corrupted files prove to be highly difficult to restore even with the use of virtual agents, and have on some occasions presented a security restriction which few personnel could access.
It has been proposed that SCP-000 may hold potential for Thaumiel classification as it may be able to be weaponized and used to corrupt enemy files and other files to prevent the dissemination of classified information.
The features distinguishing SCP-000 from other applications and programs are the corrupted documents abilities to automatically send duplicates with no embedded code or script to prompt such an action, the automatic bypassing of all known security measures and the ability to create security restrictions, all within a short matter of time.
INCIDENT LOG 000-01
DATE: █/██/████
Dr. ████ was managing SCP-████ and attempted to access the document. Upon attempting to access it, Dr. ████ was presented with a security restriction, claiming the document was restricted to Level 3 personnel. Foundation Tech Support was contacted and successfully confirmed Dr. ████'s credentials. However, upon access of the file, Dr. ████ was met with a FILE CORRUPT message. Foundation Tech Support attempted to restore the file with much effort, and had then alerted multiple site administrators for a potential SCP-000 database corruption.
A mass inspection of site databases yielded 70+ corrupted files, with sites 35, 19, 20 and 114 being affected with no traceable source. MTF Kappa-10 ("Skynet") was alerted and had begun an attempt to restore all corrupted files, create back-ups of safe documents and attempt to track any patterns using multiple virtual agents. The O5 Council had already been informed of the mass corruption and were bracing for a ZC Class Mass Database Wipe.
Virtual agents were deployed to combat the attack. Although some files were successfully protected with virtual agents, most of the database was affected. Foundation technological teams at each site scanned all terminals located at their individual sites to search for any files corrupted by SCP-000 which may have prompted the mass corruption.
As a last resort, the Foundation had resorted to anomalous use to restore all files, using SCPs ████, ███, and 2████.
Following the incident, a physical site examination was engaged in multiple sites. Portable physical data storage devices were confiscated and examined for SCP-000 corrupt files, yielding no corrupt files.
Considering test logs and the incident, the Foundation decided not to preserve SCP-000 and to re-classify it to the Gevurah classification due to its nature and its potential to cause irreversible damage. Corrupted files usually do not result in the cancellation of future plans and protocols, however, this event may occur.
Discovery: The first appearance of SCP-000 was the compromising of classified United Nations files and CIA files, 4/2/17. Compromised files consisted of UIU files, technological advancements and certain protocols . The files were eventually successfully unlocked, however, the files were severely corrupted and required the tracing of older iterations.
The source of the attack was also immediately investigated, revealing that a single corrupted file was sent, merely the receiving of the file being the cause. Though there were absolutely no efforts to prevent the tracing of the source from the attacker, it was relatively difficult to find the source.
The attack was brought to the Foundation's attention due to the unusual specificity of corrupted files and its ability to bypass all security measures in place. The Foundation soon requested a corrupted file to be sent to an empty computer. Once it was received, connection to the SCiPnet was immediately shut off for the extraction and storage of the file in a USB drive. CIA and UN files were successfully restored with anomalous usage unknown to the CIA and UN.
| Test 000-1 | Contents of Terminal | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| One SCP-000 corrupted file stored in a USB drive | SCP Document template | Text was converted by one character per 0.2 seconds. File was corrupted. |
| Test 000-2 | Contents of Terminal | Notes |
| One SCP-000 corrupted file stored in a USB drive | 055 Document duplicate | 23% of the document was converted before the process suddenly ceased. |
| Test 000-3 | Contents of Terminal | Notes |
| One SCP-000 corrupted file stored in a USB drive | Empty document | File was immediately corrupted. |
| Test 000-4 | Contents of Terminal | Notes |
| One SCP-000 corrupted file stored in a USB drive | 5 empty documents | One file was corrupted, then two files were corrupted simultaneously, with the rest being corrupted simultaneously. |
| Test 000-5 | Contents of Terminal | Notes |
| One SCP-000 corrupted file stored in a USB drive | 100+ classified duplicate files | One file was corrupted, repeating the process similar to the one observed in Test 000-4. |
SCP-L prior to recovery. Note the black paper crown, seen before containment.
Item #: SCP-L
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-L is to be kept in SHC-055 at all times. At least 2 documents of SCP-L, (digital and physical) and at least one recording of SCP-L (digital and physical) must be kept within the containment chamber at all times. If any one of these sources of information are lost, one Level 4 person must be notified for replacement.
Description: SCP-L is a cloaked and often masked humanoid measuring 1.7 meter tall. SCP-L is mostly docile, however, it has displayed violent behavior on some occasions.
SCP-L unmasked, threatening MTF Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed Fox").

Item 51 | CLASSIFIED
| Entry: | #51 |
| Type: | Cyberweapon |
| Hazard Level: | 9 | Could potentially corrupt entire database. |
| Location: | <CLASSIFIED> |
| Anomaly: | Mass Data Corruption |
Report
Item 51 is an anomaly capable of causing massive corruptions of large databases. It has proven to be able to bypass all known security measures and has corrupted multiple company and government databases before. Recovery of corrupted data is highly difficult, and may require anomalous use to recover lost information. The absolute origin of Item 51 is unknown, and is theorized to have originated from another anomaly.
Usage
Weaponizing and deployment of Item 51 is pending approval. Item 51 may be used to attack rival groups who are considered hostile. Deployment will only occur if highly necessary and approved by a Beta class person and an Alpha class person.
Storage
Over 70 files corrupted by Item 51 are stored in multiple USB drives and are used for creation of more corrupted files or deployment. These USB drives are stored at <CLASSIFIED> and are restricted to Beta command and higher. Personnel misusing the USB drives in ways such as importing corrupted files into other terminals will be severely reprimanded.
Even during that incident, where someone had tried to corrupt our entire database, nothing happened. All other databases were corrupted by the deployment of just one file corrupted by it, except ours. We have tested it ourselves by creating a completely different database, but nothing happened.
Realize, that it may be aware of who we are, what we do, and why we do. Realize, that this may greatly assist us in reaching our goals of a new, intelligent, brave, and adapted world.
Commander ██████
Event Description: All botanical organisms within a 7 km radius spontaneously and suddenly were reversed 90 degrees, revealing the roots of each plant. All plants were reverted to their original position and were not damaged.
Date of Occurrence: 4/4/2018
Location: Rural farm in ███████████, South Dakota.
Follow-up Actions Taken: Eye witnesses were administered Class A amnestics. Samples of plants were taken into Foundation custody. The farm is currently monitored for any activity.
Event Description: All objects within a park spontaneously began to ricochet at speeds of 0.7 m/s, each increasing by about 0.3 m/s for each impact with a surface or object, with the highest speed being nearly 19 m/s. Objects such as benches, pieces of pavement and bark and lamp posts continued ricocheting for 1 minute and 17 seconds before suddenly ceasing movement. 23 civilian casualties were reported along with 6 deaths and the remaining 17 severely injured.
Date of Occurrence: 4/9/2018
Location: ██████, Florida
Follow-up Actions Taken: Eye witnesses and survivors were treated with Class A amnestics. Local and social media reports were successfully destroyed. Area is kept under surveillance until further notice.

Item #: SCP-V
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: Orange ●
Special Containment Procedures: Any living beings with identified instances of SCP-V are to be immediately contained in cells suitable for the infected instance (SCP-V-1).
Description: SCP-V refers to the infection by SCP-V-A. SCP-V-A instances are humanoid-shaped sedentary symbiotes and are usually observed to be crawling within the iris near the pupil. SCP-V-A instances do not seem to gain benefit or harm from the host, and neither does the host itself experience any benefit or harm besides mild irritation and watery eyes.
Instances (SCP-V-A) usually are found in the eyes of mammals, though instances have appeared in the eyes of reptiles, bugs, insects and marine animals.
SCP-V-A instances usually avoid the limbus and sclera and almost never leave the iris, though some instances have been observed to attempt to leave the iris completely with few actually emerging from the iris. It is believed that the chances of the instances expiring increases when leaving further away from the pupil, however, when the eye of the host is closed, SCP-V-A instances have shown to survive for longer periods of time even when most of the instance is within the sclera.
Direct causes of infection are unknown, however, it is theorized the SCP-V-A instances that have not chosen a host live within dark and specifically moist areas, such as the moisture of the eye and the darkness created when closed. SCP-V-A instances are believed to begin their life cycle as spore-like cells2 with usually only one sufficiently developed instance emerging from the ciliary body.
SCP-V-A instances have been observed to react negatively when exposed to light by trembling, crawling into darker areas, and have also been observed to contract or curl into themselves before ceasing all activity.
Causes of death for SCP-V-A instances are usually loss of massive amounts of an unidentified black fluid (SCP-V-B), believed to be the "blood" of SCP-V-A. Scratches on the iris and sclera have been observed and are unusually fatal to the host. The scratches and abrasions on the eye are however somewhat linguistically coherent, possibly proving sapience.
Extraction of SCP-V-A instances and the study of their anatomy has proven to be somewhat difficult, though the anatomy of SCP-V-A is sufficiently known to propose many hypotheses to their life function.
89% of all SCP-V-A instances seem to expire from drainage of SCP-V-B fluids due to self-inflicted injuries, most commonly being lacerations and incisions to the chest, wrist and neck.
Below are three slightly coherent messages carved into the scleras and irises of multiple hosts.
