Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept at site 17, under constant surveillance of at least two guard personnel, equipped with stun batons. These batons are to be used should SCP-XXXX engage in any unauthorized contact with SCP-XXXX-2, unless informed otherwise by (superiors).
Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX-2, it can not be directly contained. Because of this, as of Addendum XXXX-B, it is to be kept under constant surveillance, and any change in its status is to be reported to the Site Director of site 17 immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX (formerly known as Alexander Lurling) is a human male of North American decent. Records indicate that SCP-XXXX was born in , making them around __. SCP-XXXX has short dark brown hair and brown eyes, and is 62.4 meters in height and is 49.2kg in weight. For all extensive purposes, SCP-XXXX appears to be a normal human being. The only mildy anomalous property of SCP-XXXX when not interacting with SCP-XXXX-2 is that SCP-XXXX appears to have an oddly keen sense of others emotions, especially when they are in distress. SCP-XXXX is very mindful of this sense, often asking about other individuals that they feel are in discomfort.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a massive reptilian entity located in the Appalachian mountains. In its dormant state, it sits perched at the summit of a relatively short peak, completely unresponsive. It is somewhere between 140 to 170 meters in length, with a wingspan of over 120 meters. It is pale grey in color, with golden claws and horns. Any attempts to approach SCP-XXXX-2 inexplicably ends in failure, with the personelle in question being forced back down the mountain upon reaching about 60 meters from SCP-XXXX-2. Because of this, all observations and surveillance must be performed from the base of the peak it sits on.
SCP-XXXX-2 will remain in its dormant state permanently, unless SCP-XXXX interacts with it, either intentionally or not. SCP-XXXX interacts with SCP-XXXX-2 by entering a dormant state similar to that of SCP-XXXX-2's. When this happens, SCP-XXXX-2 will become active. When active, SCP-XXXX-2 will begin to awake, and its scales will begin to give off a blue glow. While it is active, it appears that SCP-XXXX's consciousness is effectively transferred to the body of SCP-XXXX-2, giving SCP-XXXX complete control of it. This has also been confirmed by SCP-XXXX(See Addendum _). It has also been confirmed by SCP-XXXX that, when interacting with SCP-XXXX-2, its sense of emotions is heightened to an unprecedented level, thought the effective range of this detection has yet to be determined.
When SCP-XXXX breaks off contact with SCP-XXXX-2, either intentionally or by the act of Foundation Personnel, SCP-XXXX-2 will immediately return to its dormant state. Should it not be on its perch, it will automatically begin to travel back to it, once again becoming unresponsive. It will also lose its blue glow as soon as contact is severed.
Acquisition: SCP-XXXX-2 was discovered first, when it suddenly became active for the first recorded time on July 14th, . It was quickly discovered that SCP-XXXX-2 gave off a distinct bio-electric signal, and SCP-XXXX was located a few hours later, by tracking the same bio-electric signal also given off by SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX was discovered off a hiking trail in New York, unconscious and alone. Foundation personnel managed to resuscitate SCP-XXXX, and, when questioned, SCP-XXXX stated that they last remembered hiking with their family, and remembered nothing of passing out or interacting with SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX was taken into Foundation custody shortly after, with their family being informed that SCP-XXXX had gotten lost, and was discovered dead a few days later.
