The Golden Monkey of the Stone

In the far eastern mountain valleys located at the ancient Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, there was a mysterious, mythical place called the Utopia. Shielded from the outer world, the Utopia, as its name held its title; was filled with beautiful trees, pretty flowers, good weather and most importantly, Utopia was infested with hairy beings called- monkeys. Unlike normal monkeys who are scavengers for food, Utopian Monkeys are vaguely intelligent in their own ways that even men could comprehend what actions were they doing. The monkeys lived happy and fulfilling lives, from talking to each other like humans to eating savoury fruits given to them from the natural resources of the ever-growing Utopia. However, there was one problem among the intelligent creatures: in the Utopia, there was one waterfall. The waterfall, called sacred by many monkeys, is directed to an entrance to the fabled Holy Caverns that could only be accessible through an extreme method which is considered suicide to Utopian Monkeys; that is leaping into the waterfall itself. No monkey has ever dared to jump.

One day, something terrific happened. A huge lightning striked down from the seemingly infinite skies down to an ancient big boulder that was placed at the peak of Utopia for, perhaps, billions of years. The boulder cracked upon the lightning strike, and something astonishing happened.

A shiny golden monkey leaped out of the cracked stone and stood, stood seeing the amazing scenario of Utopia. He immediately recognized this place as his first home; and went down from the peak to the valley, where the monkeys lived.
