Special Containment Procedures: SCP-(blank) is to be kept in a 3 meter by 3 meter reinforced concrete cube. The cube must be Vantablack in color, to prevent SCP-(blank) from "activating." A door is to be built into the wall, and the entire surrounding area must be Vantablack to prevent SCP-(blank) from "activating."

Description: SCP-(blank) is a 3 inch by 3 inch translucent cube. Inside is an extremely condensed star, reduced to 1 centimeter in diameter by unknown means. Any organic material that comes into contact with the cube is instantly and utterly wiped from existence. Any organic material that undergoes this process adds to the mass of the star. If any substance that reflects light greater than 0.04% of all light is within the range of SCP-(blank), roughly 300,000,000 feet if unobstructed, then SCP-(blank) will "activate," causing all living creatures in its radius (regardless of obstruction) to become blind, unless wearing completely vision-obstructing goggles. After the activation period of SCP-(blank), roughly 36 minutes, all organisms that were blinded will regain vision, but be unable to see anything related to SCP-(blank).

These organisms, hereby referred to as SCP-(blank)-A, will be unable to comprehend anything related to vision or eyes. SCP-(blank)-A will eventually be driven insane after a period of 2-6 months, with some incidents taking 1-1 1/2 years. SCP-(blank)-A will then often be unable to comprehend anything, and attempt to remove all forms of vision from anything they see.
