Containment Procedures: SCP 4745 is to be locked in its containment cell at all times. The containment cell for SCP 4745 is to be guarded by one Class II personnel at all times. While contained, SCP 4745 is to be completely covered by SCP 4745-1 unless being cleaned. Once per week, SCP 4745-1 is to be removed from SCP 4745 in order for a class D personnel to clean SCP 4745.
Description: SCP 4745 is a full length dressing mirror with similar design to mirrors of the 19th century measuring 2 meters tall by 1 meter wide without the wooden carved border and stand. SCP 4745 was discovered in ████████, Illinois. When a subject appears in the mirrors reflection, within three seconds SCP 4745-2 will manifest behind the subject in the mirror. The subject has roughly 30 seconds to leave the reflection before SCP 4745-2 will act. As time passes a form of rot will slowly spread from SCP 4745, the rot is highly corrosive to any other material except SCP 4745 and can be cleaned while on the mirror with a standard spray clean agent.
SCP 4745-1 is a brown embroidered carpet that is used to cover SCP 4745 when the mirror is not being cleaned. The cover does not have any anomalous properties and appears to have several stains of dried blood and [DATA EXPUNGED].
SCP 4745-2 appears as a human-like creature roughly 2.5 meters in height. The creature appears as an emaciated old woman with long white and gray hair that covers her face. The body of SCP 4745-2 when it first appears in the reflection is covered by a white robe. As a subject continues to remain in the reflection of SCP 4745, SCP 4745-2 will appear to become more and more active. As well as this, SCP 4745-2 will begin to change in appearance as if becoming younger in age. As stated before, SCP 4745-2 appears as an elderly emaciated woman but while closer to the end of the 30 second countdown she is seen as a woman in her mid-twenties. The hair of the woman also slowly slacks back to reveal her face as the subject continues to remain in the reflection. While subjects who have viewed the face of SCP 4745-2 have not provided completely specific information, her face appears to be twisted into a smile that spreads far across the creatures face nearly to her ears. Inside the mouth, her teeth are clearly rotted and appear to be sharpened by some tool, but not well, as her gums are cut in many places and bleeding to the point that she cannot contain the blood in her mouth. SCP 4745-2's eyes appear to be sunken and completely black. Subjects who have made direct eye contact with SCP 4745-2 report to have felt a paralyzing fear take their bodies. Upon further testing, the appearance of SCP 4745-2 and the effect of making eye contact seem to become more profound. If the 30 seconds expires and the subject is still in the mirror, SCP 4745-2 will then reach out from under her robe revealing a callused rotted hand similar to that found on a corpse several weeks after death. The hand will then reach through the mirror and grab the subject and pull them into the mirror. Previous attempts to stop the hand of SCP 4745-2 from grabbing a subject have failed. When the subject is pulled into the mirror SCP 4745-2 can be viewed dragging the subject out of reflection until screaming is heard. The screaming varies depending on the subject being taken. While SCP 4745-2 is dragging the subject into the mirror and out of sight, any subject can view SCP 4745 without any effect until the screaming ends. All who have entered SCP 4745 have not returned.
