Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in Warehouse 04 at Site-49. An inflatable ball two meters in diameter is to be kept inside the warehouse to occupy SCP-XXXX.

No one is to access SCP-XXXX unless it is for work usage, testing, or maintenance. During testing with D-Class, at least one security officer is to monitor all test subjects, and intervene as necessary.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a vehicle that measures approximately 12 m long at extended length. It weighs approximately 9,100 kilograms. The vehicle is a dull black in color. The machine consists of an eight-wheeled body, a cab containing a monitor and keyboard, a three piece arm, and a claw with six fingers. The metallic components of the vehicle consist of many materials, including titanium, aluminium, and various steels.

The anomalous proterties of SCP-XXXX occur at random intervals. The vehicle will become autonomous at these times, able to move anywhere without human control. The vehicle appears to see through a camera lens located at the center of the claw. SCP-XXXX has the mentality of a young child, desiring attention and wanting to play. The machine displays emotions through body language and mechanical noises. These emotions include, but aren't limited to, joy, sadness, anger, fear, and apathy. In previous instances, the machine will attempt to exit the warehouse. For this matter, an inflatable ball has been added in order to occupy the machine's time.

SCP-XXXX displays abnormal strength, being able to manipulate items three times its mass. The vehicle is limited to carrying items equal to its mass. Any form of communication can be entered into the monitor inside the cab. The machine may or may not follow commands entered into the monitor. The machine tends to question commands given to it. The machine communicates through the monitor via text in simple language.

All attempts to remove any piece of SCP-XXXX has resulted in failure. In any instance, the machine will move away from the subject attempting dismantlement until the subject withdraws.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered in a dilapidated car factory on ██/██/200█. The SCP Foundation has shown interest in the location after continuous reports of unusual noises kept originating from the location. Upon entering the building, much of the unused equipment has been thrown around and destroyed. Upon entering a loading bay, the machine was found in the middle of the room. The machine was currently inactive at the time. Presuming it to be a simple computer with a login system, Scout Omega reached the monitor and attempted to find a "backdoor" into the monitor. See Log XXXX-1 for more detail.

After this exchange, SCP-XXXX becomes autonomous, observing the personnel present. The machine followed all commands entered into the monitor during relocation and containment.

After further investigation of the factory, a journal presumably written by a former employee at the factory was discovered. The book has taken heavy fire damage. Only writings of significance have been posted. All destroyed writings are marked with […]
