IBACUWUN

The following is a recording of a conversation between a surviving participant and Dr. █████.

Dr. █████: What was it like?
Participant: It started out good. Then it went bad. Then it was
scary. Then I almost died. Then I got out.
Dr. █████: Can you be more specific?
Participant: Sure. I opened the door, and like everyone else
before me, I was in the house. Just a typical
Victorian style House. I looked around for a bit and
wrote all my findings in this journal, like you asked.
*Paper shuffling*
Participant: Then I opened the front door back up. Just like the
people before me, I was in intersection A. You told
me to use the right door, so I did. It opened, and I
was in a familiar house. I still have no idea what it
was, but I knew it from somewhere. Just like the rest
of them.
Then something strange happened. I felt a
presence.
Dr. █████: Describe it.
Participant: That’s the thing: I can’t. I just felt something. And
then it was behind me. Breathing on my neck. Of
course, I had taken extensive training courses for
this, so I knew what to do. I walked at my normal
pace to intersection B. Once I was in the light, the
breathing stopped. This continued until I was in
intersection K. That’s when I almost died.
Dr. █████: Details, please.
Participant: Intersection K was exactly like all the others. I
opened up K3H, and it was the same house, except
destroyed. Just like all the others.
I don’t know why the K houses are so different, but
there’s definitely a reason why no one has made it
to intersection L.
Dr. █████: It says in your journal that you ran from the
monster.
Participant: Yes. Like I said, there’s a reason no one has made it
to intersection L.
Dr. █████: But you survived?
Participant: I don’t know what happened. It ripped me apart.
My Limbs had been separated from my body, and I
was losing liters of blood by the second.
Then I saw a light. It blinded me, and when I
opened my eyes, I was outside, limbs attached and
all. It seems [DATA REDACTED], right?
Dr. █████: I don’t understand. My men, the ones keeping
watch outside, said you walked out of the front
door with not so much as a scratch on you.
Participant: Well then we can put another tally on the
“mysteries about SCP-XXXX” board, can’t we?

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures

SCP-XXXX and its inhabitants are to be secured by the closest site to its current location (this being Site ██). There are to be at least █ personnel and at most ██ personnel on site at all times. All personnel are to be trained in escaping SCP-XXXX on the possibility that one somehow enters SCP-XXXX.

The house should be hidden at all times by a green tarp with signs signaling to the public that it is currently under construction. Furthermore, all personnel are to wear standard safety outfits over their uniforms so as not to arouse suspicion.

Description

SCP-XXXX is a 1900’s style Victorian house with a brownish-red and sea-green paint job. The windows are boarded up and the only section of the house that has not been weathered is the front porch, which from a distance does not have a door.

When walking up said porch, a door appears where it would usually be. On no testing occasions has the door been observed to appear. It will always present itself on the off chance of all observers blinking at the same time, or if all observers are distracted by something.

The inside of the first house inside SCP-XXXX resembles the standard interior of this house, which is labeled H. Each house after this will be labeled like this: Intersection Letter / Chosen Door / H. Example: K2H. The only substantial item in house H is a [DATA REDACTED], which is located in the ██████████████. Upon reopening the front door, the participant will enter a small room, about 5 meters by 5 meters by 5 meters, with four doors. Each door marks a cardinal point. Inspection of the contents of each door reveal that they are all exactly the same, but the contents vary from person to person. The only aspect that carries over from person to person is that the house is familiar, but the participant can never remember what from.

The deepest anyone has made it into SCP-XXXX is KH. No known participants have been able to reach intersection L, and there is no known end to SCP-XXXX. There have been ███ official explorations of SCP-XXXX, on dates [DATA REDACTED] through [DATA REDACTED], each exploration ██ days apart, lasting about █ hours each. All explorations have been performed by D-Class personnel. Of all ███ explorations, █ were successful in the sense that the participant made it out of SCP-XXXX alive.

There are two entities associated with SCP-XXXX. The first one, labeled XXXX-1, is (from descriptions of surviving expeditioners) a demon-like monster with a face similar to that of SCP-096, except more deformed. SCP-XXXX-1 has an unknown number of rows of teeth, all observed to be canines. Its eyes are sunken deep into its skull with pitch black irises and pupils. Its body shape is unknown, and no current data suggests the composition of it, whether mechanical or organic.

Participants are first exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 at the earliest when they enter the house, and at the latest at house CH. This entity will identify itself by breathing down the participants’ neck, and at times letting out a scream which fills the participants’ head with thoughts equating to: RUN. SCP-XXXX-1 is only able to harm people if they move at speeds greater than █ mph. There is no current evidence that suggests why the specimen can only directly interact with someone when they are running.

There is a small amount of information on SCP-XXXX-2. It is observed as a light likely capable of causing blindness and [DATA REDACTED]. It is unknown whether XXXX-2 has a physical form, or if it is only a light. Other information on XXXX-2 includes the ability to teleport entities out of the house and possibly restrain SCP-XXXX-1, however the extent of these abilities is currently unknown.
