Special Containment Procedures:The perimeter of SCP-X is to be fenced off under the guise of a wildlife recovery program. Any animals that periodically undergo molting(This includes reptiles, felines, canines, birds, frogs, salamanders, arachnids, and many species of insect.) are forbidden from entering SCP-X. Guards at Area X-12 are encouraged to shoot and kill any animals that enter SCP-.
Should an excessive amount of SCP-X-1 form, on site guards are to perform a full search of the area, destroying any instances of SCP-X-1 that are found.
Description: SCP-X Is a 2km3 area of desert in southeastern Egypt. Any animal that undergoes molting within the area will create an instance of SCP-X-1. SCP-X-1 Is an exact replica of the animal that molted in SCP-X, using the dead skin or shed fur as a "mold." SCP-X-1 forms in approximately one hour, and can only form if at least half of the molt is in the area.
Left unchecked, SCP-X-1 instances will quickly overtake the area.
