ICECAPPEDSKIES

Item#: SCP-XXXX

Object class: Euclid

Containment procedures: is to be contained within a 100m x 100m plot of land bordered by a 5 meter tall barb wire fence. The fence must be checked biweekly for damage. If these conditions are not met it could risk SCP-XXXX breaching containment.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a entity with primarily fox like features with fur of white coloration. SCP-XXXX displays signs of Heterochromia Iridum. A conditional that causes differentiating eye color. SCP-XXXX stands 1.2 meters in height and nearly 4 meters in length. The creature has been described to have a scent similar to that of burning tobacco although the reason for this unknown. SCP-XXXX is shown to possess high intellectual capabilities and the capacity to understand speech as well as the ability to speak. However SCP-XXXX has not shown to be adapt communicating through any other language besides Navajo. SCP-XXXX has shown the ability to cause surrounding sentient beings to fall into a comatose state in which random cuts and bruises of varying severity appear on the subjects body, although how this phenomenon occurs is unknown.

Additional: SCP-XXXX becomes violent when approached by personnel carrying firearms even if the firearm is not visible to SCP-XXXX. To avoid agitating SCP-XXXX firearms are not to be present around SCP-XXXX unless absolutely necessary.
SCP-XXXX has a documented top speed of [Redacted]km/h.
The ability displayed by SCP-XXXX can only effect beings within twenty meters of its location.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was recovered in a barn following a report in the state of [Redacted] in which ten civilians sustained minor injuries due to SCP-XXXX’s anomalous nature. Although the original location of SCP-XXXX is thought to be a cave that was nearby to the initial sighting by Agent Manson. The cave upon examination suggest that their may have been paintings on the walls of the cave. However the wildfire a few hours prior to recovery ran through that area likely destroying any artistic depictions that may have lingered within the cave. The cave itself displays no anomalous properties and likely only served as basic shelter for SCP-XXXX.

Interview XXXX-01:
The following interview is between Dr. McReynolds and Agent Manson pertaining to the recovery of SCP-XXXX

Dr. McReynolds: If you don’t mind I’m going to ask you a few questions regarding the recovery of SCP-XXXX. Try to keep your response brief as possible.

Agent Manson: Alright.

Dr. McReynolds: What time do you recall encountering SCP-XXXX?

Agent Manson: The wildfire was still raging in the distance so it was hard to tell. Probably around eight o’clock at the most.

Dr. McReynolds:would that be A.M or P.M?

Agent Manson: P.M.

Dr. McReynolds: [flips pages] How many agents were assigned the task of recovering SCP-XXXX?

Agent Manson: Four agents as well as myself although I would have had more assigned the task had I known how much trouble I would go through trying to bag the damn thing.

Dr. McReynolds: [flips back a page] It says here in the report that the creature… yes the creature upon acquiring sight of your squad became emotionally distressed and Agent Carter and Agent Anderson fell to the ground. Is that accurate by your account?

Agent Manson: [shifts in seat uncomfortably] Yeah, I don’t know if the screaming caused it or if it had to due with proximity. I mean we were twenty to twenty five meters away at the most. But yeah, all I know is that it knocked them out cold. Hell I don’t know if they’ve even woke up from it yet.

Dr. McReynolds: This states that [focusing] -that cuts and bruises started appearing on Agent Carter and Agent Anderson. Do you recall this happening?

Agent Manson: Yeah, Agent Polk was wiping the blood off Agent Anderson’s face and new cuts and bruises kept appearing all over him. I don’t know for how long this kept happening to them because I was chasing SCP-XXXX through the forest.

Dr. McReynolds: Can you give me a brief description of SCP-XXXX?

Agent Manson: Yeah. The creature looked pretty much like a fox but probably fives times larger if I had to guess.

Dr. McReynolds: Can you describe the color of SCP-XXXX? Or any differentiating features of SCP-XXXX?

Agent: Well it was white and had some strange letters or rune looking things that were tattooed onto the skin under its fur. And it also had two different colored eyes.

Dr. McReynolds what color were its eyes?

Agent Manson: Well I don’t remember which eye was what color but I can tell you that one of them was light blue and the other was a light brown.

Dr. McReynolds: I have one more question looks like. [inhales] How did you recover SCP-XXXX?

Agent Manson: Me and Agent Morgan chased the bastard through the ash covered forest for what seemed like hours before finally cornering it in a barn which gave Morgan a chance to hit it with the tranq rifle. Had that barn not been there I don’t know if we would’ve caught it.

Dr. McReynolds: Alright that will be all for today. [Manson gets up to leave] Agent Manson is leaving the interview room. Dr. Francis end interview XXXX-01

That’s about what I have right now I’m going to try to expand it into the religious and mythological significance it had in Native American culture. I’m likely going to have it hate Foundation staff initially due it being forgotten by his people as time passed. Maybe have a story where SCP-XXXX has character development risking its life to save foundation staff during a containment breach. And yes this has been done on my phone so bolding and formatting is going to be difficult till I can gain access to a computer
If anyone has any critiques go ahead and let me know. Right now this is my 2nd go at this SCP. Btw thank you Zyn and Mew-itverse for the feedback.
