Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained within Site-███'s storage room, which has been reinforced to properly withstand any attempts to breach containment from SCP-XXXX. No personnel, except the operator, are to enter the storage room while SCP-XXXX is active prior to incident SCP-XXXX-A1. SCP-XXXX may be relocated to different sites under permission of Doctor ███████ and supervisors of the site the entity is to be relocated to.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a heavily modified blue, white, and yellow ██████ H25E forklift with a top speed of 188 km/h capable of lifting cargo with a maximum weight of 643 kilograms up to 5 meters high. The name █████ ████████ is carved into the steering wheel of SCP-XXXX, showing the previous, if not first owner of SCP-XXXX. Signs of previous modification is obvious, as panels are damaged and riddled with screws, holding sheets of metal against the chassis to resemble the original body shape.

Modifications are as follows:

  • Numerous hydraulic systems mounted on the entity's forks, likely adding to the weight limit of the lift.
  • A laser rangefinder mounted inside the left fork at an angle to measure the distance from the forks and the designated cargo.
  • Internal workings have been almost completely remade to resemble the same operation as that of a compact car. The chassis is composed of a steel frame and a fully functional differential and driveshaft, along with a two-stroke engine from the manufacturer ████████.
  • A small touchscreen mounted at a 32° angle to face the operator. Options on the screen include 'Ride Height,' 'Diff Lock,' 'Activate,' and other dimmed buttons, which are apparently unusable. Any changes are to be reported to Doctor ██████ immediately.
  • The right fork is sharpened to a dull, nearly sharp point and is polished to a smooth, glassy texture. This fork is to be re-polished every two maintenance routines, as the entity will refuse to work if it is not polished.
  • Two ████ brand speakers placed on either side of the driver's seat. It is apparently used to 'speak' to its operator or surrounding personnel.

Upon activation, SCP-XXXX moves to the center of the space it is within and drives a counter-clockwise circle 2-3 times before stopping and then moving to the closest box or palette of cargo. Upon storage of all cargo on the floor, the entity begins scouting the entire space for approximately five minutes. At the end of these five minutes, SCP-XXXX moves back to its docking station and shuts down. If the entity were to encounter a human at this time, it would chase it down at a heightened speed (About twelve km faster than its maximum speed) and skewer it with its right fork. SCP-XXXX will then proceed to place the human on a shelf, on top of a palette, or within a box. Supervisors assume the entity uses inertia to get the carcass off of its right fork, as there is no mechanism, hidden or visible, to push it off.

SCP-XXXX has been found and acquired August ██, 20██ at ███████ True Value Hardware in ███████, Wisconsin. The owner, ███ ██████ states that "We haven't had problems from it since the time we bought it." The hardware store is now under loose surveillance and will be monitored until May ██, 20██.
