WhiteRose

SCP-XXXX in the woods located in Chernobyl.

Special Containment Procedures:  SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a well-lit room at least 2 m by 2 m by 2 m in measurement. The room is to be kept at a constant 26° Celsius. It is to be kept in a normal sized flower pot with holes in the bottom for its roots to go through. The room is also to have four floodlights,  one for each corner of the room, directly facing the plant. Each floodlight must have two lights sitting upon a tripod 500 watts each, equaling to 1000 watts per floodlight.

SCP-XXXX is to be watered twice a day, once at 06:00 and once at 18:00. Its soil is also to be replaced twice a week on Sunday and Thursday. The floodlights must also be replaced once a month on the first Thursday of the month. Personnel must also check up on the plant every two hours to ensure that there are no red flags with it.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a rose that was discovered in a thick mist, deep in the woods located in Chernobyl.
The rose is rather colorless and when it was plucked, turned black in color and released a gas, similar to that of tear gas.  Upon being plucked, the mist cleared up slowly, but faster than mist usually clears up.

Later on when the rose was tested at Site-114, it was discovered that the rose replants itself and faces the direction where another anomaly was recently neutralized. It was also discovered that if the rose is messed with in a harmful manner, as in an attempt to neutralize it, its roots grow longer, wrap around the attacker, and eventually suffocate them.

After a few months of various basic tests, such as the reason the color of the rose changes, heat wave patterns, et cetera, the rose was moved to Site-███, located in ███████, New York. While at Site-███, the flower seem to act different that at the previous site. It started to give off more heat during the heat wave pattern tests. The temperature of the plant began to rise and at the time, it was unknown why this was happening. According to Dr. ████████, the rose started to show more hostility before, and tended to grow its roots more often, and a lot longer than before. It got to the point where it even began to take more personnel lives in shorter periods of time. Not long after, it was transferred to Site-19 where SCP-173 was also being kept. At Site-19, the rose appeared to be less hostile than at other sites, which led researchers to believe that it also acts differently based on its location and distance from certain anomalies.
