Special Containment Procedures: Scp 4917 will, at all times, be locked in a metal box at a non ventilated room. The only door to access scp 4917 must be guarded by 2 guards or to be monitored always, but the station of guards must be changed hourly. If anyone tries to force their way into the room without 05 permission, they will be shot without warning. No further experiments are aloud.
Description: Scp 4917 is a small, plastic like gun that is in the detail of a 1930s Buck Rogers Space Gun. It is not very notable, except for still being in new condition and having a small etching into it which reads “The Reality Bender”.
The anomalous features of this scp does not come into effect until the person wielding the scp pulls the trigger, which then fires a laser bolt out of the barrel.
Once the laser hits something, the bolt creates a screeching sound, and a random occurrence can happen. The other anomalous feature of this scp is that it sends mental signs to anyone in the area for over an hour to make a grab for it and use it. Because of these two effects, and the possible end of the world scenario if used in the wrong hands, the procedure must be active.

Subject: > Dr.Griffin, a newer personnel testing the scp.
Procedure: > Fire 1 bolt of the laser into the blank target.
Results: > After firing the bolt, his clothes started oozing with mustard. He quickly takes them off and runs to the locker rooms to gather new clothes. After 4 hours, the clothes stop oozing mustard.
Analysis:> It appears that the laser bolt has a chance of doing anything, even if it doesn’t make sense.

Subject: > Dr.Griffin
Procedure: >Dr.Griffin fires 3 bolts in rapid succession at the same blank target.
Results: >When the personnel fires three bolts, each bolt did something unique. Bolt 1 made all scp items in the area, excluding itself, stop working for 1 hour. Bolt 2 teleported scp-049 out of the containment cell and into a hospital, thus creating a containment breach, and it “cured” several civilians and caused a mass distribution of Class A Amnestic. Bolt 3 creates three puppies about the size of a car in the cafeteria.
Analysis: > After all three concerns were dealt with, Dr.Griffin sent a request to 05 about the cancellation of all further experiments. 05 agreed with this request. After a week, Dr.Griffin tried to go back into the room to try the weapon out and was shot. After investigating his room, personnel have found his journal, and in which the last few days read about his urge to enter the room and ‘play with it’. After finding this, 05 have made claims that 2 guards are to be stationed at all times.
