  • Containment Procedures: SCP-6617 is to be constantly accompanied and taken care of by SCP-6617-2 so as to reduce aggression level of SCP-6617.
  • Description | Physical Appearance: SCP-6617 is a 12.5×12.5 cm red spherical shaped organism with an Infinity symbol shaped mark of black coloring on the center of its face. It has blank bright yellow eyes in both centers of the mask. The most prominent feature of SCP-6617 is a 6 meter long tail that at times can extend up to 830 meters. The tail is the same red as the body and has a heart shaped end on it with an extremely sharp tip. The tail can extend and retract 2000 times quicker than the average blink.
  • Description | Actions: While sleeping, SCP-6617 wraps its tail around it's body so it is protected from all danger on the outside of the tail sphere. Whilst it is in this form it is virtually indestructible, nothing can cause harm to it due to the strength and durability of its tail. Researchers have tried to test this by putting it in SCP-001s cell but not even the scorching heat could damage SCP-6617. SCP-6617 seems to not harm anything while accompanied by SCP-6617-2 for an unknown reason, there seems to be a bond between the two entities.
  • Description | Lethality: SCP-6617 feeds on human blood. While SCP-6617 does not have a mouth, it extends it tail and punctures the heart of the closest human lifeform so it can absorb the blood through the tip of its tail. The victim does not know that anything has happened until they immediately drop dead.
  • Description | Helpfulness: The tail of SCP-6617 can neutralize many dangerous or extremely destructive SCPs including but not limited to SCP-682, SCP-6789, SCP-106, SCP-096, SCP-49, and many many more. Those it can not kill (SCP-001, SCP-173, and a few more) it can contain easily.

  • Description | Physical Appearance: SCP-6617-2 is a male human, age 12, of Irish/Swedish descent.
  • Description | Background: SCP-6617-2, named [NAME REDACTED] was introduced to SCP-6617 on August 23, 2019 when him and his parents took a trip to Mt. Denali in Alaska, U.S. While he was climbing the mountain he saw a faint red shape in the distance (SCP-6617) and went to investigate. As he was walking closer he was impaled by SCP-6617. For an undiscovered reason he didn't die, he felt a sudden surge of power and sprinted toward SCP-6617 and picked it up. It seemed friendly towards him so he slowly lowered the SCP into his bag and took him back home, where the SCP foundation investigated it and tried to take SCP-6617 away from SCP-6617-2. When the Agents were driving the SCP to the facility it killed all agents in the car and proceeded to make its way back to its owner. 2 months later they both were brought to the facility for further questioning and investigation.
  • Description | Lethality: SCP-6617-2 is the only entity in existence that can communicate with SCP-6617. SCP-6617-2 has to be around SCP-6617 at all times or else SCP-6617 will try to kill everything around it until it reaches SCP-6617-2. If SCP-6617-2 ever dies SCP-6617 will vanish into it's own personal dimension and sleep eternally.
