Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5329 is to be contained in a 5m x 5m x 5m steel cell at all times. Weekly checks for cracks or holes are mandatory. A light is to be kept on in SCP-5329's cell at all times. Sound and video surveillance may monitor SCP-5329's cell when a strong light is on in the cell. Laser detectors are used to insure SCP-5329's presence inside the cell if the light for some reason fails. If, for whatever reason the light in SCP-5329's cell is to go out, immediate powering off of the camera is essential. (See Incident Log 5329-a)
Description: SCP-5329 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 1.82 meters in height. Body structure is mostly unknown due to a gas mask and robes made of a tarp-like material covering the torso. SCP-5329 has two large horns out of the top of the mask, both around 1 meter long. It also carries around a rusty staff with a circular emblem on the top, resembling a █████ or an ███████. It also carries around an unidentified lethal object in its other hand (Undergoing investigation). SCP-5329 uses its staff by hiding in the shadows and becoming soul bound to any entity viewing it in real time (The viewing entity will now be referred to as SCP-5329-1), be it a camera, or a living eye.
If SCP-5329 is to be viewed by a light by SCP-5329-1, the soul bounding will be broken, and the entity is no longer SCP-5329-1. SCP-5329 requires to be somewhere dark or non visible for the staff to successfully soul bound. SCP-5329 will take tragic or loving memories via the soul bound and use those to deceive SCP-5329-1 by imitating a loved or lost person. It will then use the unidentified object by slitting SCP-5329-1's throat to gain the power of its soul, lighting a flame (the flame will be referred to as SCP-5329-2) and regaining any lost power or healing any wounds while SCP-5329-2 is burning.
SCP-5329 is completely sentient and knows most human languages.
Research on the tissue samples received on 12/22/██ concludes that SCP-5329 is not completely natural, but also not artificial. Test subjects that have survived testing said that "talking to 5229 was like talking to dark matter". More research will be conducted.
Incident Log 5329-a: [18:28] was watching 5329's cell when the light for unknown reasons, flickered out. (SCP-5329 was seduced and taken to temporary containment while engineers handled the problem after the incident) The lasers were not yet implemented and SCP-5329 made a soul bound with the unknowing guard. SCP-5329-1 was then influenced to open SCP-5329's cell, and then he was killed by 5329, and turned to SCP-5329-2 after it retrieved its ritualistic tools. was pronounced deceased at [18:35]. SCP-5329 roamed the facility and an announcement to not look in the dark was made. He was easily seduced with a guards taser, and recontained in temporary containment. A request to reclassify SCP-5329 to keter class was denied by 04 authority.
