Special Containment Procedures:
Foundation WebCrawler 5402-XaE, implanted into law enforcer databases by undercover foundation operatives are to monitor all missing reports or murder cases that are filed. Any reports containing a missing child with no memory of biological parents or traces of SCP 5402 are to be reviewed and investigated by MTF GAMMA-6 (Red Herrings) to alter the law enforcers perception on the case or amnesticizing them if necessary.

All SCP 5402-1 found are to be taken into foundation custody and stored in Site-397's humanoid containment division with a corresponding cell. All SCP 5402-1 are to be interviewed on their birthday to see changes to SCP 5402 behavior and appearance. SCP 5402-1 instances are to be sent to Site 397-B for Termination via lethal injection 1 day before turning 15 years old.¹

Description:
SCP 5402 is an anomalous species only visible to SCP 5402-1. SCP 5402-1 is defined as a human child with no memories of their biological parents, chosen by an instance of SCP 5402 between the age of 7 to 9 years old, when an instance of SCP 5402 has chosen SCP 5402-1, SCP 5402-1 will now see its corresponding SCP 5401. SCP 5402 has been reported by all SCP 5402-1 to not interact with the physical world, being able to walk through objects, though SCP 5402 does not seem to fall through ground, indicating the ability to propel and settle mid air.

After the death of SCP 5402-1-A, SCP 5402-1-B and SCP 5402-1-C,² the ethics committee have implemented Procedure-XXJ7, in where all SCP 5402-1 contained by the foundation are to be terminated via lethal injection 1 day before turning 15 years old to avoid a unpleasant death caused from SCP 5402.

After the Success of Retrieving Anthony Adams SCP 5402-1-5 parents, I have set out to find Arthur Marshall's SCP 5402-1-7's parents, though Anthony Adams SCP 5402-1-5 had even a few memories of his parents, Arthur SCP 5402-1-7 has none to our knowledge, 1 more year seems like a lot, but I have no clue where to start. No other researchers are even trying to find his parents, to them he's not human, to be honest I think they have never considered him human even before he had encountered and SCP 5402 instance. The only lead my unit have is Arthur SCP 5402-1-7 being found in Toronto and remembering growing up in Toronto but his parents could be anywhere by now. My biggest fear is that his parents have past away while Arthur SCP 5402-1-7 was in foundation custody, but my unit will continue our search. -Mason Cooper April 12 2011

My search unit was disbanded as Dr. Gaumer says the funds and time needed to continue is too costly yet I'm not done looking, a cant just let Arthur die, I cant have that again. Joining the foundation I never knew it would be so emotionally charged, we all do horrible stuff to keep everyone else safe, I cant be the only one that cant sleep at night knowing the stuff I've done. How can everybody here not even show a little emotion, I try my best but either my anger or sadness always creeps in eventually. The foundation doesn't Arthur a human, he isn't the dangerous thing in the SCP 5402 document, my unit went into my terminal and changed Arthur to SCP 5402-1-7, to be completely honest I'm not angry that my search unit left, they didn't care for Arthur and they didn't even try to save a child's life just because some anomaly decided to pick him. -Dr. Mason Cooper Feb 27 2011

I might have found my saving grace, the ethics committee are sure to help my investigation, they wont treat Arthur as just an object, just a subject of a monster that shouldn't be saved. I've recently sent out a email asking for a improvement in respect and willingness to help Arthur. Though time is still ticking and my search continues, but my own funds are starting to run low to help, and my 03 credentials only get me so far. Its been two months since my last log, stopped writing for a while since it didn't help me out for a while, but I've it a wall in my plans. After opening up 03 level sensitive data about SCP 5402-1, Dr. Gaumer had caught wind and shut down my operation, the ethics committee have begun sending procedures to help find Arthur's parents, the worst part that I realized, Arthur knows what's happening, his friends at the facility would always disappear when turning 15, he knows he doesn't have long. - Dr. Mason Cooper 21 Nov 2011.
