Item#: SCP-5923
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP - 5923 should be contained in a standard humanoid cell in Site ███, a minimum of four (4) guards posted outside equipped with tranquilizers. All personnel who are there for examination/experimentation purposes must also be given sedative distributors. Do not engage 5923 unless instructed by Dr. Nunes Dr. Kaige. Refrain from disclosing personal comments until exiting the cell to prevent outbursts. (We learn from our mistakes, right? ~ Dr. Kaige).
In case of an emergency such as a sudden outburst, sedatives distributed upon entry are to be used at the earliest opportunity. In order to successfully incapacitate SCP - 5923, target the back of the female's head. This should require minimum effort if instructions are followed properly due to 5923 reacting to sedatives as a standard human would.
In order to receive further cooperation, subject is allowed its phone for one (1) hour a day to continue what it refers to as it's 'vlog'. 5923 must follow specific conditions set in order to retain its privilege's.
- SCP - 5923 is not permitted to reveal its location while the phone is in its possession.
- SCP - 5923 is not permitted to ask for assistance or call authorities while the phone is in its possession.
Should these conditions be violated, subject's phone must be confiscated and any requests made by SCP - 5923 must be denied for a certain period of time decided by Dr. Nunes Dr. Kaige.
Description: Subject is an eighteen-year-old female, 168cm in height. The irises are maroon while the hair is a questionable blue-green cut to meet the middle of its neck. SCP - 5923 displays many similarities to humans and refers to itself as ████ █████.
Though SCP - 5923 generally presents no usual behavior, it can be highly dangerous. When engaged, subject will become highly agitated, but will not appear to move. While stationary, those who engage 5923 will appear to be assaulted by an invisible force titled as SCP - 5923 - 2. Though not visible to the naked eye, videos from capture and security footage show an additional entity.
This entity has black pigmentation, a humanoid like figure, but no prominent facial features besides protruding incisors. It is currently unexplained why only the torso-above is visible, and research has yet to identify this being as any myth or legend. Dr. ████ has suggested it has the possibility of it resembling a demon. An exorcist was called; the results were unsatisfactory.
Viewing the video footage, said entity will maim any who approach SCP - 5923 in a 5ft radius. The lives of Dr. ████, Dr. █████, Agent ████, and several other were lost due to this creature. Something to note is when the mutilation ensues, SCP - 5923 will begin to receive blood splatter as though it was performing said actions. DNA tests have proven that this theory is plausible.
Addendum 5923.1: Discovery
SCP - 5923 was discovered after a report from an Agent in San Francisco. The Agent disclosed that an 'odd murderer was down a few blocks', and a team was dispatched in the minutes preceding the report. As the Agent had specified, SCP - 5923 was observed on a sidewalk, motionless as a party of street thugs were terminated, considerable gashes in their midsections. As it was distracted, our soldiers were able to sedate 5923 and remove it from the scene. Researchers were able to pull up the background of SCP - 5923 and soon discovered that similar events happened around a year ago.
Interviewed: SCP - 5923
Interviewed: Dr. Christine Nunes
Foreword: The first interview after SCP-5923's capture. 5923 has been restrained in a chair across from Dr. Nunes.

Dr. Nunes: Hello, 5923. My name is Dr. Nunes. I'm sure you have many questions; I'll answer as many as I'm able.
SCP-5923: (Calmly) I only have a couple, actually.
Dr. Nunes: Oh? And those are?
SCP-5923: Where am I?
Dr. Nunes: (Hesitates) You are in the SCP Foundation.
SCP-5923: (Looks around the room) I see. I guess I'll be tested on, then? In that case, may I have a schedule?
Dr. Nunes: (Smiles weakly) I'm afraid we don't work like that here. We're not like what you may have read in books. Now, is there another question you'd like to ask me before I ask some myself?
SCP-5923: (Looks directly at Dr. Nunes) What do you think I am?
Dr. Nunes: (Pauses) I'm sorry?
SCP-5923: I've been captured because I've, regrettably, killed people. But your name, 'SCP', doesn't sound like an insane asylum. I suppose, in a way, its… better? Or maybe how some may put it: worse. So, why am I in here? If that simplifies it.
Dr. Nunes: You terminate people in a way that's highly unnatural. We want to study it more. So we can understand why. And to find out exactly what this other entity is.
SCP-5923: Ah, yes. That. Well, by all means, study and observe away. I, too, would like to understand better what exactly it is.
Dr. Nunes: 'Understand better'? So you know what it is?
SCP-5923: (Looks away) Sort of. All I know is that it 'manifested' from me.
Dr. Nunes: So you made it?
SCP-5923: Yes and no. I never wanted it, never needed it. But its here.
Dr. Nunes: Here? In this room?
SCP-5923: (Nods to a corner of the room) Its observing you… and those on the other side of that one-way glass (nods directly to the one-way glass). I can't see, nor hear them, but I know that they're there.
Dr. Nunes: (Stands quickly) I think that's enough for today.
SCP-5923: (Smiles) Of course.
<End of Log>
Closing Statement: SCP - 5923 was then escorted to its cell and put under strict observation. Dr. Nunes will not interview 5923 until further data has been compiled.
Test A - ████
Subject: SCP - 5923
Procedure: Based on SCP - 5923's history and data gathered from previous interviews, a small group of Doctors/Researchers/etc. will attempt to speak negatively about 5923 in it's presence. It is not physical engagement, but verbal nonetheless. The expected results are that SCP - 5923 will engage personnel despite the lack of physical contact.
Results: As hypothesized, SCP - 5923 engaged Foundation personnel without a direct assault from any of the staff. Before SCP - 5923 engaged Foundation staff, it became increasingly agitated, requesting politely for staff to remove themselves from it's presence. As instructed, personnel denied the requests. The maiming took place with similar results from capture and DNA tests returned, verifying the actions SCP - 5923 - 2 have mirrored effects on SCP - 5923. Dr. Kaige will replace Dr. Nunes for further interviews and a formal apology sent to Dr. Nunes's family.
Analysis: SCP - 5923 will engage any who physically or verbally attack it. All staff, should they have any personal comments, should keep them private until out of audio range of 5923. Any violation of this rule will proceed with consequences.
